I found this story rather difficult to read- not because of the violence, but because of the many errors.

Most commas are in the wrong places, many semi-colons are scattered about in places they don't belong, and incorrect words are used frequently ("felted" instead of "felt", "compension" instead of "compensation", "clap" instead of "clamp", "decapitation" instead of "castration" , etc.). We all make mistakes, but there were just too many in close proximity for me to be able to concentrate on the story.

Fortunately, there are many tools you can use to help you progress from a good storyteller to a good story writer. Two books that have helped me immensely are Strunk and White's The Elements of Style (an oldie but a goodie), and Practical English Handbook by Watkins and Dillingham.

You might also ask a friend to proofread or edit your work. Just don't let someone tell you what changes you should make without explaining WHY a change is needed.

Please don't be discouraged by my comments. I just think that an honest appraisal helps all writers to improve their work, which also helps the readers enjoy it that much more.

You clearly have a vivid imagination and colorful characters with stories to tell, and I wish you luck with your writing.
