My girl wants to get dreadlocks and I wanted some comment and some help with pics of chicks with dreads ro see if I will like it.

IMO and this is just MY OWN OPINION im not here to sway you one way or another but i think dreads look better on dudes... the reason being guys are known to be scruffy and rough. i think women who have dreads look scruffy.....and they can only put them in a huge ponytail if they want...... E.x. if you go out to a upscale restaurant for dinner with the family dreads kinda stick out like a sore thumb.... plus dont most chicks get fed up with hair do's a day or two after?

but this is my opinion not trying to knock chicks with dreads or anything either.

 

Dreads on a woman makes them look like a Medusa.

Ultimately it's her decision since it's her head but I have never met a girl with dreads that didn't look dirty. Dreads are dirty looking. Like they haven't washed their hair in weeks. It's just GROSS. Just seems like poor hygiene.

Just my .02 like I said, she's going to do what she feels like in the end anyway.

I have a friend with much shorter dreads than the pics. She looks awesome with them. I think it all comes down to the woman. Each is different.
