Climate change, IQ. the right, and the left

Unlike most Americans on the right you acknowledge the reality of man made climate change.

Man made climate change presents the right with the same conundrum the reality of IQ differences presents the left.

The reality of man made climate change is that major restrictions in national sovereignty, economic growth, and private property rights are called for. The right opposes these restrictions, so it denies the reality of man made climate change.

The reality of IQ differences is that a truly egalitarian economy and society is not possible. Beyond a certain point, efforts to achieve one will be costly in economic growth and technological development. This is particularly true in a multi racial society, which those on the left prefer, because the races differ significantly in average, innate intelligence.

Because of this quandary the right pretends that man made climate change is not happening, or is not a problem. The left pretends that IQ tests measure nothing of importance, and that a better society - with leftists in charge - will create more intelligent people, and erase the race gap in average intelligence.

A difference is that the right does not try to suppress those who argue that climate change is happening. The left does try to suppress those who argue that there are important relationships between genes, IQ, race, and successful outcomes in life.

 

Ok, I would like one person to explain to me the Medieval warming period. Tell me why the earth was 5* warmer than it is now. How did it warm up? From around 950 A.D. to 1400 A.D. Our planet was 5* warmer.

The Vikings had settlements on Greenland. And it was called Greenland for one reason. It was green. They raised live stock and crops. The polar bear is still here and so are we. The sea level didn't cover half the planet. New York and Florida were never covered with the ocean. The planet and man thrived and prospered.

The planet began to cool off around 1450 A.D. and ushered in the dark ages. Millions died from starvation and disease. You know the black plague. Then it began to warm again around 1850 A.D. HUMMMM Could it just be a natural cycle. Maybe every 4-500 years our planet goes through the same cycle.

There were no big coal power plants, no s.u.v's driving around, no cattle to fart methane, no boats or millions of gas guzzling cars. So please can one of you end of the world fear mongers tell me how the planet got 5* warmer? And why did it cool off?

What happened to Acid rain? What happened to the coming Ice age? You know the ice age that the very same entities warned us about in the 70's. Time magazine had a picture of earth covered with ice. It ran many stories about how we were all going to freeze to death.

Then there was acid rain that these very same entities said was going to kill all the trees in the world and we were going to all die. Well?????

 

Ok everyone sing. We believe the children are the future. Blah balh balh. It's all lies. Fat Al Gore owns 51% of the carbon exchange board. That's why he pushes all this bullshit lies. He will make billions with cap and trade. BILLIONS he will make by trading carbon credits. It is just another way for the U.N. and the social elite to control the world with the new world government. WAKE UP AMERICA! I say warm the planet even more. I hate the cold.

 

Well, I'm not American, although one day I hope to become a proud American.
Secondly I'm not on the right. I'm further to the left than most of the people on this forum on most issues, this certainly includes you. Where I differ from most of the lefties on this forum is I absolutely believe in your constitution, especially the first 10 amendments. Simple as that.

 

To reiterate my point:

I'm pro legalisation of not just cannabis, but many other substances too.

I'm strongly against the death penalty.

I'm pro choice (in favour of abortion up to 24 weeks.)

I support stem cell research.

I support gay marriage. (but not forcing a church to allow gay marriage on their premises)

I support a secular society.

I'm not anti-immigration.

I believe in climate change, and believe the left has an inadequate solution to the problem.

I'm anti war.

I'm strongly against the Guantanamo Bay facility as well as torture under all circumstances.

I'm against any military intervention whatsoever in the middle east unless there is a real imminent threat to Israel or the west.

I'm against "teach the controversy" in science classes.

I'm against the Patriot Act.

I believe civil liberties are non negotiable.



But because I support your right to own a gun, and because I favour the private sector over the public sector, you want to put me on the right ?

 

This one has a lot of really good substantive discussion in it, but then you wouldn't be able to see your own posts as much, right magic?

 

What an old fool you are, reviving old threads just to prove that you can. It's been 9 months since the last post on that thread.

 

Each and every assertion you've been making in your attention-whore crap has been rebutted in these old threads. You keep gloating over how the "repugs" and "deniers" don't have the stones to take you on.

The fact is, they're tired of repeating themselves, every time a koolaid-drinking attention whore comes on this forum and rants that the sky is falling.

 

Fine. Lets start with the premise that Humans are slowly cooking themselves by dumping tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Give me a plan. A workable plan, that will stop it.
1) Stop all the cars from emitting CO2. Everywhere. Doesn't work if we just get the US and Europe to do it if China and Russia and South American and Africa won't join the effort.
2) All the trucks, and trains, and manufacturing that pump CO2 into the atmosphere.
3) Every plane.

Show me a workable plan.
