Don't you just love the PR hacks and their many many socks impotent attempts at misdirection. What Rachel Maddow reported last night didn't have a damn thing to do with Trump saying he would 100% be willing to testify under oath.What Maddow was reporting is there are two indications that the special prosecutor is already looking into Trump's possible obstruction of justice. One is Comey's testimony that he has already turned his memos over to the special prosecutor. And the other is that the Senate Intelligence Committee got hold of Comey's professor friend and basically gave him 24 hours to turn over all the memos he received from Comey. But instead of just handing over the memos he was instead "in contact" with the members of the committee. Which only leaves two possitilities. Either the professor plans on finding himself in contempt of congress. Or he contacted the members of the committee and told them he could not hand over any memos to them because they had already been handed over to the special prosecutor and were part of an on going investigation; i.e an obstruction of justice investigation.

And what is even more hilarious is yes all the mainstream news outlets are reporting on Trump saying he would be; "100% willing to testify under oath." But many of them are also reporting that saying that is a huge mistake on Trump's part because no competent attorney would want their client to say that in public and especially if their client is the president. Its actually pretty hard to compel a sitting president to testify under oath and is usually a very serious matter before they can make a president do that. Because testifying under oath cares very severe penalties for anything else than the absolute truth and no attorney wants to expose their client to that danger if they can avoid it. Which is even more true when their client is lying thorugh his teeth.

Plus several news outlets and internet sites are also running Trump's statement next to all the other times Trump has made similar boasts that turned out to be just another one of his lies. And it is hilarious how many examples of that there actually are.

 

Again...

Maddow?..an expert?..fucking hardly.

Obviously Maddow?..the expert... has no idea what type of privileges are afforded the POTUS under the U.S.C..

Furthermore, neither do you, or you wouldn't be claiming that Maddow?..the expert?, was an expert to claim that Trump as POTUS was/is in a possible violation of obstruction of justice.

Ok let's do some more word tracking. This time Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

Here is what Ryan had to say about Comey's testimony.

Notice what does not say is I believe Trump is telling the truth and Comey must be lying., It is simply making up an excuse for Trump. And just a really stupid and unbelievable excuse at that. He is basically saying Trump is simply too ignorant to know he was committing obstruction of justice. When the reality of one of the fundamentals of our legal system is ignorance of the law is no excuse.

And this is actually another really stupid excuse that amounts to a lie. Comey did in fact tell Trump he was not personally under investigation at the time of their meetings. But also went on to explain he could not publicly state that because the investigation(s) were just beginning and if the FBI made a public statement that Trump was not personally under investigation at that time, and new evidence emerged that did bring Trump personally into the investigation at a later date they would have a "duty to correct." Meaning they would have to make another public statement announcing Trump was now personally under investigation concerning Russian interference in our election, possible collusion witht the Russians or even what he knew about Flynn and when he knew it. And here is what Comey does not get credit for. He was actually trying to protect Trump from himself. Because just because Trump might actually become personally investigated it does not mean he actually did anything wrong or illegal. It simply means they were having to investigate whether he did or not. And having to publicly announce that now Trump was personally part of their investigation could be more damaging then what they actually found. Just like it was when Comey annoiunced they were re-opening the investigation into Clinton's emails because they found additional emails on Weiner's computer while investigating another crime. It turned out there was nothing new. But the damage was already done.

But we can also tell a lot from a non sequitur like this. Ryan is deliberately simply jumping from one piece of nonsense to another trying to baffle with bullshit because Trump is in serious trouble and he knows it.

 

Only a demented backwards facing leftist like yourself would come to such an illogical conclusion like this.

There is still not a thin thread of evidence of anything, about anything, that would lead anyone that has an ounce intelligence to think that there is any wrong doing..immoral, unethical, or even illegal.

What we have seen and heard, Comey leaked information, Lynch colluded with Clinton and Comey to sidestep investigating Clinton and the Clinton ring of corruption....Wasserman-Shultz...Podesta...Weiner...Abedin...Aspis...Kelly...Magaziner...Mills...Band.

 

CNN Forced to Correct Report From ‘Anonymous Sources’ After Comey Proves It Wrong;

It’s already clear the mainstream media was one of Thursday’s biggest losers. Former FBI director James Comey ripped the New York Times and other news outlets for using anonymous sources and classified material they didn’t understand to report on Trump’s ties to Russian officials.

But in the wake of Comey’s testimony, CNN added to its own embarrassment. Thursday night, the network was forced to issue a correction after it reported—for two days straight—that once under oath, Comey would dispute the President’s claims that Comey had assured him he was not under FBI investigation.

The story, titled “Comey Expected to Refute Trump,” was (of course) based on the word of “several anonymous sources.” Four reporters—Gloria Borger, Eric Lichtblau, Jake Tapper and Brian Rokus—were listed on the byline.

“Trump has made a blanket claim that Comey told him multiple times that he was not under investigation,” the now-corrected story claimed, according to the Washington Post. “But one source said Comey is expected to explain to senators that those were much more nuanced conversations from which Trump concluded that he was not under investigation.”
