Hello where is the cricket thread? The one thread dedicated to cricket and cricket alone? Can't find titm there's football baseball hockey and hunger games but no cricket. It's surprising since most nations playing cricket belong to the English speaking world since outside of it soccer is far more popular (it's more popular in west too but still).

If there isn't any thread that ain't dead and rotting then I think there should ne one. What say xnxxers? And this isn't a thoughtless thread I did a search on forums and couldn't find any that had the last post before Jan. I'd consider a 5 month or more old thread dead. So there.
Btw sorry about regular posts but it feels nice what can I say to put thoughts which don't go into my stories on the forum.

yeah it's huge in australia, NZ, UK (of course), and Indian subcontinent. Zimbabwe was good once (i remember the WC loss of India to them) but now they've virtually disappeared. Heard the Chinese are preparing. *worried*

Its played all year round, we play here all summer and then tour the northern hemisphere in our winter, thats the national team.
Domestic cricket is just played over the summer months but then most of the top teer players here are contracted to play county cricket in England in their summer our winter.

 

yes here McCullum plays for KKR. His form is improving, in the match before this one he scored 50 against the top ranked Delhi Daredevils. Gayle will need some serious effort to handle in his present form. And watch out for Sunil Narine too.....the "mystery" spinner.

well they were having a purple run of sorts. won last 6 matches before Rohit Sharma of MI blew them away. first 3 seasons they ended in last spot, last time in fourth, this time lets see.
In IPL there's 70 odd games plus the finals. each team gets about 16 games.

 

What you should try to watch is a T20 match...cricket on steroids, wham bam thank you maam, each match lasts about 3 hrs.

And to Pandorius, there are threads here on cricket but they don't last long..they're usually around for the World Cups and The Ashes, it gives the poms a chance to abuse us aussies..8-(excited:, though the next Ashes will be different.
