Have you not yet realized in life that change is not avoidable and even when we get things restored it is still never the same as it originally was. How many times have we wanted something back just to say and realize it is no longer the same experience or produces the same feelings as the first time only realized once we get it back. Nothing stays the same forever.

deidre79 was the most fascinating poster to post here. She had many admirers, including me. She also had powerful enemies. These eventually banned her for arbitrary reasons, as I explained in this thread:

So what's the deal? Is this legend we keep hearing about really going to return? Do they even know they've been de-banned? I'm growing anxious with anticipation.

 

This legend was a poster who posed as female, stole Distant Lover's heart, got in trouble with a former admin, and got banned. DL has been pining ever since, sending "her" emails and whatever other form of communication he had available. "She" has not responded, apparently. The only big deal about "her" is in DL's mind. No one else steps up to agree with him about what a loss "her" banning was. Funny thing.

 

Cool! I can't wait. I'm almost in a tizzy now.

I usually just go by what they say they are and leave it at that. With a place like this you never know who or what they really are. They might be a woman who used to be a man, pretending to be a man who used to be a woman for all we know.

Just out of curiosity, what is this foolproof method the mods have for absolutely and accurately determining the gender of a member?

 

someone who was banned in 2010 and has been brought up each month consecutively. Supposed she was considered a general nuisance and active on political threads. She made posts saying the mods were harrassing her so the admin said "you have 24 hours to show us this proof or we will ban you."

When she just said "come on everyone knows they harrass me," (which, let's be honest, the mods harrass everyone so who the fuck cares?) instead of giving proof she was given two days to say her goodbyes and banned.
