  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

I've been following Dr Carson for a while now. As some of you may know, when I was younger I was a democrat, when President Johnson came to power I became disillusioned with the democrats. The more I learn about Dr Carson by listening to him, the more I feel I could be listening to President John F. Kennedy. If this was the late fifties, early sixties, Dr Carson would fit right in the democrat party. Today's democrats are not at all like John F. Kennedy democrats. Remember, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

Dr Carson is a man members of all parties can get behind. Especially black folks. He realizes the problems in the black community and how to bring back proud black families. Not only black folks but all folks. He knows the importance of unity. Don't buy into the elitists telling the people Carson can't win. Remember, they said the same thing about Barack Obama.

He'll bring this country back to the traditional values that made us great.

I'd consider him a "dark horse" candidate...no pun intended. The doc should be considered over most of the long list.

Carson seems to be doing well despite the fact he's a homophobe, prohibitionist and is seriously against abortion and the woman's right to choose.

I don't see many Democrats voting for him.

His statement on abortion, in response to Hillary Clinton was well reasoned:

He also went on to say specifically he would ban abortions in the case of rape, incest, and the life of the mother.

Again, I don't see many Dems voting for Bens.....

Would you like to post the link where you saw his quote?

You do know that , as president, he does not have the power to ban abortions, don't you? Since the president is sworn to uphold the Constitution and laws of the US, how could he effect a change without the legislative branch enacting a new law that would pass the SCOTUS constitutionality test?

This is a strawman argument against Dr. Carson, brought on by alarmists.

The difference between Dr Carson and Clinton, he tells the immediate truth how he feels. Clinton hems and haws, until her advisers inform her what position to take. Everyone and I mean everyone knows that is true.

The remark the young female news anchor made about politics in Washington and her condescending laugh was utterly ridiculous.

He derides public assistant, despite having benefited from those programs himself. He also wants to based our tax system on the bible and create a "sin" basis for that system.

He is a doctor. He took the Hippocratic oath. As for taxes, why do you have a problem with everyone paying a flat 10 percent?

Everyone must realize, if he becomes president he will hire a cabinet and other advisers. He is not a politician. He is a good man, why do you have a problem with good men?

So let me ask you, do you think Christian people are evil? Doctors take a Hippocratic oath, what would you expect his position on harming babies to be?

What is wrong with everyone paying 10%? People must realize if he becomes president he'll have a cabinet advising him. He will choose wise and honest people, unlike the current impostor we have in the White house today.

Perhaps. Does Ben cheat on his wife too?:nailbiting:
Just kidding Tommie. Look, I think Carson is a good man but I worry about his religious views. I don't want a president who thinks he's ruling by the hand of god, you know? I also wouldn't vote for anybody who is looking to escalate war in the Middle East, block marijuana reform and refuse equal rights for gays.

He means well in his own mind but he hasn't evolved and his ideas will restrict many freedoms we want to enjoy in life. I wouldn't want him making our decisions and directing policy.

There are worse candidates than Ben Carson though.

First of all, my questioning his desire to base our tax system on the bible couldn't possibly imply that I think Christians are evil. Not sure how you came to that conclusion. Secondly, I said nothing about abortion. Personally, I don't advocate abortion, but I also don't advocate telling others how to live their lives.

And as far as basing our tax system on the bible, problem is where do you get this 10% from? It's not in the bible. The Bible does tell us to pay our taxes, but it doesn't lay out any such system.

I do find it odd that what is in the bible you don't say a word...

Your attempt at painting me as hating Christians is just a stupid personal attack intended to spin your lack of argument. Not sure why you mentioned abortion, but I'm quite certain there's a reason you don't mention public assistance... It makes Carson look bad.

You are delusional, no one is attacking you. I merely asked a question. You are the person attacking a good man that you ASSUME is backwards. I suggest you consider all facts before you attack good people.

He advocates "tithing" which is giving 10% of your income to whatever you pledge it to. Hardly a religious thing, unless, of course, you are seeking to discredit him by using oblique evidence.

Just because he is a good man does not mean he would be a good President.
