That is the reason in a nutshell that I write, however it pisses me off when people kill a good story over jealousy. I began to move some of my work from other sites to the forum. I learned quick that the sex stories side is full of cut throats and illiterate people who would not know a good story if it slapped them in the face.

Reason is Searching and other ways to find stories. Plus the way its orazined.
Was wondering if you can change it For example like i want to find boy/boy. - Have simple ways that we can find something. instead of all of them jumbled with each other

I know people have a preferred story the like to read. Intstead of trying to find what we want to look for, It jumbles all boy/boy stories together I mean stright, gay, bi etc

Is there any way to sort them in a filter instead of going down a list of all the stories.

Example maybe use a way that category it in a way that when we do a seech we can look for what we want instead of going through all the stories just to fine the theme.

took me six days just to find one Gay story a friend from here told me about. It was on 78 page,

Has anyone noticed just recently that there has been a bombardment of non-sex stories, in the sex story forum. My theory is, they are posting them in the sex story threads, because if they post them where they be long. No one will pay attention to them, and I don't buy the excuse that it was a mistake. Because they can read, it says sex stories!

 

Your subject and mine is apples to oranges because what they're posting is not stories. They're not stupid they can read, they just don't want to post them in the proper Forum section. They need to crack down on it or it'll be a free-for-all and they will be no sections for certain things. Now for what you are complaining about those stories belong in the gay or bisexual, but nowhere near the straight section. Now if you're referring to underage boy/boy, that is illegal ( against the rules) and you will not find that on this site ( hopefully).

 

I've seen the strange behavior you've described a lot over the years, and to me it appears to be the result of a bug in the way the positive and negative votes are displayed. Every once in a while, a positive vote is erroneously noted as a negative vote. It is a bit confusing and annoying, but otherwise harmless and usually corrects itself after another (couple of) votes. The percentage that is calculated is always correct, you can do the math yourself.

In your case, you really had 18 positive and only 1 negative vote, giving you a percentage of 94,7. Then one more negative vote was added, coincidentally correcting the misrepresentation, and making it 18 positive and 2 negative votes, or 90%. Although there's no denying there is a group of people purposely downvoting stories, especially new and thus vulnerable stories, I must disagree with your conclusion. Hopefully these insights will help you decide to keep posting your chapters.

 

I have noticed that since. A few more instances of pos = neg and vice versa but as you said they typically work themselves out. I posted a story separate from the chapters I mentioned and it did amazingly well. There seem to be a few factors involved. First, a self-contained story will attract more attention than a chapter of a whole. Submitting earlier in the week creates competition between your story and all others, some will downvote to get it out of their way and others for their reasons. Having it published on Thursday/ Friday leaves it up for people to check out over the weekend. By the following Monday, the story rating should be a bit more solid to deal with random neg votes. During the week seems to be the real battleground of ratings. Obviously, this is all my own personal experience. I have decided to continue posting here because of the feedback I received on that story that did well. I too also disagree with my conclusion, I was feeling quite aggravated back then but I'm learning more about writing and posting on this site. Maybe I'm too nice or I'm just too superstitious about karma, but I can't downvote a story I haven't read.

If you are trying to post on "Sexstories" - once you are logged in, on the left side under the title "Account" you will find "Post a new story" It should be the second item down. Then follow through with what follows.
If you are trying to post on the Forum, just create a new thread under Sex Stories and paste your story into it.

I'm not staff but former admin and Mod of closed site do to trust with anyone minus himself so my guess when he possibly past away so went the site.

Such was the case until the day a reader, albertofatto, got into a fight with one of my fans/followers.

He had no way to get back at his adversary, so he started to trash and down-vote his opponent's favorite author (me), and my book was caught in the crossfire.

Boohoo, would you like some cheese with that whine! You do this on all the pinned threads and such to advertise your story, technically you should categorize as spam. The rest of us authors don't do this kind of nonsense!

Please help. I have succesfully logged in and go under sex stories but there is absolutely no link to be seen under account or post new story. I am sure that i am not doing something wrong. What should i do? I have been wanting to post my story for over a month but i simply cant do it. Its driving me crazy. I am following each step to the letter. Please help!!!!

are you actually logged in under the sexstories site? it IS possible to be logged in on the forum but not under Sexstories.
When you go to sexstories, check the very top left of the page to see if it is asking you to "create and account/login" if so, then hit login and go from there. Then the "account" and "post a new story" should show up.
If you see "Logout" then you should be logged in already.
That's the only possibility I can think of. Hope it helps.

Glad I could help. I'll be looking for your stories. Just remember once you submit your story to allow a couple days for it to show up, and don't keep hitting the submit button, it will just push you to the back of the line.
Sometimes its quick, sometimes it takes longer. (for instance, right now, there has not been anything new for a few days. My guess is the administrator is on vacation for the holiday) Just be patient.
