MSNBC panel ridicules Fox News for their sad attempts to spin Trump’s disastrous July 4th celebration

A panel on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” found the glowing reviews by Fox News’ hosts of Donald Trump’s disastrous speech on July Fourth to be a source of amusement on Sunday morning — with one guest noting even the Russians panned the president.

Host Joy Reid kicked off the proceedings by running clips of Fox personalities calling Trump’s rain-soaked patriotic extravaganza “beautiful” and “incredible” while also complaining that “many of his critics said he’s going to make it all about him.”

Following a clip of Fox’s Jeanine Pirro ranting about reactions to Trump’s speech — which contained some widely-mocked historical inaccuracies about airports during the Revolutionary War — host Reid smirked and addressed her guests.

“That was the reaction Donald Trump wanted for the event he dreamed of in the last two years,” she explained. “The only major network to cover the network wall-to-wall dedicating a two-hour block for his campaign event and expose the anti-American core of the modern left.”

“He even got mocked by the Russians,” Reid continued while laughing. “Even the Russians — they mocked him. They said it was low energy, using his own insults. How does his staff keep that away from him so he doesn’t find out?”

Washington Post conservative columnist Jennifer Rubin chimed in to snark, “It’s hard when the home office gets upset with you,” at which point the entire panel started laughing once again.

Bitter Fox News fans pitch a fit after US women and Rapinoe win the World Cup

While most of America was celebrating the U.S. Women’s National Team’s record-setting fourth World Cup Championship win, some Fox News fans were bitterly stewing over the fact that team co-captain Megan Rapinoe scored the first of the two goals that would keep the cup in the U.S.

Rapinoe, who is openly gay, has become a sore point for fans of President Donald Trump after she told a reporter that there was no “f*cking” way she would go to the White House if invited — which has naturally made her a target of Fox News viewers.

On the Fox News website, under a story entitled, “US women’s soccer team wins second straight World Cup title, fourth overall,” they vented their frustration that Rapinoe was once again the hero for the U.S. Team with a collection of anti-LGBTQ slurs.

Trump Rages At Fox News, Says It's Now Worse Than 'Fake News CNN'

President Donald Trump lit into his once-favorite network on Sunday, saying Fox News is now even “worse” than his longtime bête noire, CNN.

Trump also said the network “forgot the people who got them there.”

He tweeted:

Trump is known to watch Fox News and has granted many of his interviews to the network, but lately has also attacked it several times.

“By the way, all those people in the back are fake news,” Hannity said at the event, using Trump’s favorite phrase as he gestured to an area where the media was gathered, including a reporter for Fox News.

In a since-deleted tweet, he claimed he wasn’t referring to anyone at his network.

Fox News’ Shep Smith cuts away from White House event — then meticulously debunks Trump’s self-praise

Fox News host Shep Smith cut away from President Donald Trump’s environmental speech Monday because there was a need to fact-check the claims.

Trump, who spent a great deal of the speech praising himself, told the group assembled at the White House, that under his administration more animals have made it off the endangered species list and there are fewer lawsuits for polluters.

“Widely criticized by environmentalists and academics. Harvard Law and Columbia Law have comprehensive environmental trackers that identify deregulatory efforts related to the environment,” Smith explained. “As of last month, The New York Times analysis based on research from those groups found more than 80 environmental rules and regulations on the way out under President Trump.”

Touting that his Justice Department isn’t suing for chemical use and spills doesn’t mean that such spills aren’t happening under the Trump administration. In some cases, Trump has removed the regulations that would hold polluters accountable.

“Here’s what the research and analysis found,” Smith continued. “In air pollution and emissions, ten rules have been overturned and 12 more removals are in the process. On drilling and extraction, nine overturned. Nine more in progress. On infrastructure and planning, 12 overturned. Protection of animals, eight overturned. Three gone regarding toxic substances and safety. On water pollution, four rules and regulations overturned.”

This only adds to the regulations that require industries to report their emissions.

“The Times lists these notable moves and reversals,” Smith went on. “The administration withdrew requests for oil and gas companies to report methane emissions data. It loosened decades-old rules to limit toxic emissions from major industrial polluters. It stopped enforcing a 2015 rule that would’ve phased out the use of hydrofluorocarbons. The administration has proposed weakening Obama-era fuel-economy standards for cars and light trucks, and the clean power plan, which would have restricted emissions from coal-fired plants.”

Fox guest rips Alex Acosta to shreds: He victimized Epstein’s victims a second time and then a third time

One guest on Shep Smith’s Fox News show Thursday unleashed on Labor Secretary Alex Acosta for hurting Jeffrey Epstein’s victims over and over again.

Former state attorney Bob Bianchi called it an “outrage” that Acosta would claim that he did everything he “could” do on the Epstein case when he was a U.S. Attorney in Florida.

“They have a 53-page indictment,” he said. “Prosecutors live for cases like this, child exploitation, trafficking, not just from in the United States but from outside the country as well. [There are] 80 victims, 30 of whom are cooperating with the FBI. Do the math. These agents are doing thousands and thousands of work. They’re preparing a 53-page indictment doing what federal agents do, which is to go after this guy because he represents a continuing danger to other children.”

He noted that everything changed after a meeting with Epstein that happened outside of the prosecutors’ offices. He noted that it was right before Acosta was about to leave the office because the Obama administration was coming in and he would have been replaced.

“A nonprosecution agreement?!” Bianchi exclaimed. “I agree with the state’s attorney, who, by the way, shares blame for this. When I was a state attorney [they’d get] a 15-20-year plea offer. The feds have more power. They could hit him with more. They could have hit him with enticement. They could have hit him with all of those separate victims. They wouldn’t have lost this case probably based on the evidence that we know right now and he would have been spending the rest of his life in jail.”

Smith wondered what the “real” conversation was that ultimately led to Epstein getting the slap on the wrist.

“There’s a quid pro quo here,” Bianchi alleged. “The investigation ends. Who are the other victims? Who are the other people that need protection from the government? The investigation never goes anywhere after that investigation. The indictment never goes anywhere after this nonprosecution agreement. Then, they put in the agreement, the accomplices and unnamed conspirators are immune for prosecution?! Where have you heard such a thing?”

He noted that in the press conference after the decision he claimed that they were never going after the “small fish” just Epstein and that was why.

Smith noted that Acosta didn’t have much to say for the victims in the case, who are now lamenting they never got justice.

“It’s insensitive. He victimized them a second time and then a third time,” Bianchi closed.

Shepard Smith Fact-Checks Trump On Mueller Report Exoneration: 'Not True.'

Fox News host Shepard Smith coldly fact-checked President Donald Trump’s claim, again, that he was cleared of collusion and obstruction of justice in Robert Mueller’s report on his investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign.

“It is not true,” Smith said flatly after playing a short video clip of Trump on Friday claiming that the former special counsel’s report “said no collusion — and it said effectively no obstruction.”

As for collusion, “as analyzed by a group at the NYU law school ... and detailed in the Mueller report itself, the redacted Mueller report documents 14 separate activities that show strong evidence of collusion,” Smith stated. Instances in the report demonstrate that Trump campaign associates “encouraged or gave support to the Russia-WikiLeaks election interference activities.”

The Mueller report stated that it did “not establish” that the Trump campaign “conspired or coordinated” with the Russian government. But the report also detailed multiple interactions between campaign members and Russians. It found in addition that the Russian government “interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion” in efforts to get Trump elected because it believed his presidency would benefit the Kremlin.

As for obstruction, Mueller said he “did not set out to indict the president because of his belief that doing so would go against” Department of Justice guidelines, Smith reported. “But he did document 10 instances of President Trump possibly obstructing justice and listed them in detail in his report. Any action on those instances could be taken up by the Congress while the president is still in office — or by the courts after his term is complete.”

Mueller was scheduled to testify before the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees next week, but his appearance was delayed Friday until July 24. He will appear then “for an extended period of time,” according to House leaders.

‘It’s a disaster’: Chris Wallace shuts down Kellyanne Conway for lying about conditions in migrant jails

Fox News host Chris Wallace confronted White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Sunday about the overcrowding in migrant detention centers.

During an interview on Fox News Sunday, Wallace asked Conway why some migrant men were being kept in cages for more than 40 days when the law limits detention to 72 hours.

“You can look at the conditions there,” Wallace said. “It’s a disaster.”

Conway accused the media of ignoring the facilities that are not overcrowded. But Wallace pushed her for an answer.

“That facility was meant to be a 72-hour holding facility,” she said. “It’s not equipped to keep single males who have broken the law by coming here and were apprehended.”

“Does it help for the president to say conditions are pretty good and for Mike Pence to say they are pretty good?” Wallace wondered.

Conway insisted that some facilities are “pretty good.”

“Shouldn’t you be judged on the worst facilities?” Wallace asked.

“Those men get three hot meals,” Conway shot back. “They all have access to showers… They have access to deodorant, they have access to hygienic products, they have access to toothbrushes.”

The president’s counselor ended the interview by attacking an upcoming House hearing with former special counsel Robert Mueller.

“Nobody’s ever apologized to us,” Conway complained. “Sure, oversight has a function but I think the American people are watching the way that taxpayer dollars [are being spent by] a bunch of comb-overs wanting do-overs we don’t need.”

“Just another morning with Kellyanne Conway,” Wallace sighed, concluding the interview.

Now here is not just the real problem but also why our entire nation is in danger of a mad king dictator. Trump was watching Fox and Friends yesterday when they attacked the female minority members of congress. So he grabs his phone and tweets out what amounts to all fucking blacks should be sent back to Africa with a Mexican under each arm. And then the Fox and Friends crew laughs at that and encourages him to keep it up which he does. While real Americans that do believe in our nation and constitution are fucking horrified. So Fox thinks maybe we need a little make up call here. Let's try to change the subject and muddy the waters and get at least one person to criticize Trump.

‘It’s disgusting’: Fox pundit steamrolls Trump apologist for defending president’s racist attacks

Panelists on Fox News clashed Monday over whether President Donald Trump’s racist attack against progressive congresswomen would help or hurt him politically.

“You know, look, I think he threw Nancy Pelosi a lifeline. There was a battle within the party itself and now it’s been overshadowed by this,” remarked Fox News host Bill Hemmer.

But David Avella, the chairman of the political group GOPAC, suggest that Trump had made a good political move. He insisted that Trump had made things harder for the Democratic House speaker.

“Because now you have four more members of Congress that want impeachment of the president even more. And they have all been for impeachment. Now they are all the more fired up to want impeachment,” Avella said.

“This speaker now has to figure out how she holds off a higher degree of talk for impeachment when you add into the fact that now they have a compadre now in the presidential race with Tom Steyer who made his name in politics trying to impeach the president,” he added.

“I don’t think that’s what’s going on here or what people are thinking about today,” said Jessica Tarlov, an political strategist and Fox News contributor. “People are thinking about the fact that the president unleashed a racist tweetstorm against four duly-elected congresswomen — three of whom were born in America.”

“This is the next round of birtherism,” she continued, “which started out as racism as well — both Donald Trump and Melania Trump have peddled that. It’s disgusting.”

Shep Smith goes off on Trump’s racist attacks: ‘A misleading and xenophobic eruption of distraction and division’

Fox News newsman Shep Smith began his Monday show by calling President Donald Trump’s racist comments about four congresswomen of color “xenophobic” and a “distraction” for the purpose of “division.”

“Our reporting begins with President Trump’s latest misleading and xenophobic eruption of distraction and division,” Smith opened with. “Directed this time at a group of minority women in the United States Congress. ‘Go back to where you came from,’ that is what the president wrote on Twitter just yesterday and today he called them haters of America and Jews. The president is defending those statements and when asked if he thought the tweets might be racist, his response, ‘Not at all.'”

Smith then played a clip of the shocking press conference the president had where he was supposed to be celebrating products that were made in America. Instead, the American companies were forced to sit there and be associated with justifications for racism.

“Those tweets targeted these four freshmen congresswoman known as ‘The Squad,” Smith said, citing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar, (D-MN) Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). “All four women are American citizens. Only Rep. Omar was born out of the United States.”

He noted that few Republicans have been willing to criticize the language the president used. Even Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) refused to call the comments racist before launching the confusing claim that these women are all communists.

Trump reiterated his comments that if people have problems with things in the United States that they should just leave. Trump, however, campaigned on the idea of America not being “great” and said only he could make it “great again.”

It was actually A documentary on both Hillary and Donald's childhoods and growing up from children to present day. Fox News’ Laura Ingraham offered some very mild criticism of President Donald Trump‘s tweets going after “AOC + 3” this weekend, while still defending them from the widespread denunciation of his message as racist.

As Ingraham went off on the progressive “squad” Trump attacked, she had this to say about his tweets:

“Yes, the president made an unforced error, I would say that, and that tweet telling the women to go back to places from which they came––three of the four were born in America. But the idea that he’s hitting them because they’re people or women of color is absurd. Who doesn’t Trump hit? *He was hitting Paul Ryan last week. He’s hitting them because their views in his mind and the mind of millions of Americans are insanely radical.”

She said if “anyone sounded racist” this past weekend, it was Ayanna Pressley for saying, “If you’re not prepared to come to that table and to represent that voice, don’t come. Because we don’t need any brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice.”

Later on in the opening segment, as Ingraham got into things with her panel, she again said Trump’s sentiment was absolutely not racist:

*“I think the president would probably say that to anyone coming from anywhere. It doesn’t matter where you come from… as I said, **three out of the four women were born here, okay? So that’s the error. But I don’t take from that error ‘Trump’s a racist,’ ***’cause he would say that whether you came from Sweden and trashed the country, whether you came from France… he was just taking Paul Ryan to the woodshed last week.”

*And right there we know Ingraham is lying to try and cover up Trump's racism because Trump attacked Ryan on his leadership. He attacked Ryan for what he thinks were policy failures. Trump attacked Ryan for not funding his wall. Trump does not accuse Ryan of hating America. And Trump does not say go back to where you came.

**And by now we can clearly see Ingraham's white nationalism showing. Because she keeps making the distinction that three of the four women of color Trump attacked are native born which in her mind is a distinction because she is prejudiced against minority immigrants.

***And this is something that proves most Fox viewers are actually just brainwashed parrots that only tune in to get their hate fix. That is the only explanation for them not being able to see that incredibly obvious and blatant lie. The simple reality is no Trump has not attacked people from those countries. And she deliberately left out one country. Trump is regularly attacked by Russians and Russian media and he never says a critical word about that.

And one doesn't have to be a deplorable or a despicable to hold that view. It's an American belief, not a political belief.

Now, we do not think that American hating people who would see America destroyed, or made over in their image with no room for diversity, are hypocrites of the highest order. They claim the privileges America offers and at the same time spew their hatred for America.
