      I was always told that how a man presents himself is a statement. I've always been a sharp dresser, my mother, aunt's, uncle's, step father, and father, all told me the world will look at how u present urself. More important to me women pay attention to a man's shoes and sense of style, hygiene, etc. Which is true a women looks a man from head to toe taking in details. I like to put my best foot forward no pun intended. When I was coming up the guy with run down, shoes, ungroomed, and thrift store clothes got chosen last. That is unacceptable, that's been since the 80's

      It's not bragging. It's having nice things. I work damn work for every thing I own, that's what it says. Some people make excuses other people make a way. I don't feel shame in success, If a man puts the work in he should be able to reap the benefits. Rather it's $80 shoes or $800 is irrelevant. As a young kid 12/13 I've worked, I've hustled and went and got what I wanted in life. My parents worked 3 and 4 jobs, it's in me to work. I was always told there is no place in this world for an uneducated, broke black man, be better than that. I should have died in a car accident in Jan., Lost my stepdad the same month, this is a special birthday and I'm going to live it up. I'm happy to see 31 it's a blessing

    I personally don't like a zipper on sneakers. I personally like New Balance sneakers because they have American made versions available. That's more important to me than a brand. If you really want to impress go with a pair of American made wingtip shoes with a nice Brooks Brothers shirt and jacket.

      I get where ur coming from. That's more of a business meeting thing DXL shirt, slacks, Stacy Adams.... This is a party and video shoot at a strip club, then casino hotel after party. American made isn't my focus when I go to buy something, it's more what speaks to me. When I look at a car, clothes, things of that nature it's more of a, hey this is you big guy! U look good in this kinda feeling I have to get. I was in the store and these shoes said, hey I'm what ur looking for u know?

      The gold ties into the shirt I had made for the strip club. As I said it is a video shoot as well. When I saw the shoes and made the decision to got with a couple of these pair, I started to put the outfit together. My hat has gold, I designed the shirt, and painted my pants, they all have gold in the design.

    At that price you only need one pair. If you can fit more than one pair of shoes up your ass at one time, use a really cheap pair first to take up the slack, then the crazy assed over-priced pair just for show. I don't care if the shoes use real gold accents, once the price goes above sensible, it is just a waste of money. Instead of putting the money in shoes, give it to a charity. At least then some good will come of it.

    No man should put anything up their ass let alone a shoe. The price isnt important. If I knew it was guna take the focus of the topic I would have made sure to treat it like Xmas and leave the tag off.

    People this party is a business venture. There will be a camera crew, some B-list stars, radio promo, I have over 10K invested in this event and I'm making money off the door, the bar, the VIP, etc. What the fuck is a couple grand on shoes? Can we not focus on the price!

    The 2nd and 5th the white is nice and clean the gold I could do without because I never wear gold. (Its a skin tone thing) but if gold looks good on you go for it.

    The price tag IS the problem. For a hell of a lot less you can buy some very nice shoes and put the money in your pocket, or donate the rest to some place that needs the money. Worthless consumption went out with guitar smashing. NO ONE needs or is improved by BLING. You can not possibly be that vain, unless you are compensating.

    I copied the description from the site with the pics, the price was just included when I hit the select button. I didnt see the point in erasing the price because to me, the price isn't important, didn't think it would interfere with the question at hand.

    I have very nice shoes that were less expensive, that's not the point. I was at Neiman Marcus and the lady showed me this designer and I liked the shoes. The price is what it is, if I couldn't afford it then i wouldn't be buying them. I don't buy things because I need to "compensate" my pics are on the site, anyone that's seen them can tell I'm not lacking anything. What is the point in working hard and not enjoying my money? I take care of my responsibilities as a man should in regards to my family and my business.
