For me inside. Do I get on with them. Can I have a laugh and good time with do we like the same things. Also a boob guy lol

-Does she have hobbies similar to mine.
-Can she make me laugh.
-Can I have a conversation with her about various topics.
-Does she share the same ideals that I have concerning xyz.

 

Personality. Self sufficiency. She has have a good personality, not too hung up on her looks, relaxed and friendly. I don't want a project, or someone overly needy. Part of the reason my wife and I have been together so long (>20 years) is because she thinks for herself and doesn't just follow my dumb ass.

 

Intelligence and I don't mean being super smart but simple things like knowing the difference between there and their.

Looks is what catches a guys attention, personality makes him willing to stick around. If you want to know which one a guy is interested the answer is 1) always the looks, and 2) the ones who stay and talk to you like an actual human being instead of a convenient fuck toy like your personality too.

For me, I just need a girl that can make me laugh.

 

Someone that I can talk to and laugh with. Someone who is my friend first and foremost. And someone who has some dignity about them. There's a lot of girls in my town that don't and it's not in the fun way either.

 

I like for them to have decent looks and next to no makeup. A nice, caring personality a good sense of humour. Someone who likes me fir me and isn't going to try and change who I am

 

That's about right for me too. I don't have a gal but that's what I look for. A hot body is just a bonus really.

It is common knowledge pretty people look for other pretty people. If you want someone to care for you as a person you have to be a person worth caring for. I can't count how many times I was the dorky guy sitting next to the pretty girl listening to her cry about " why can't I find a good guy?" All the while screaming in the back of my mind " bitch you are sitting right next to him!" But in the end she finds another guy like the last one. If you want a guy to notice you for more than your looks its simple be genuinely caring for someone other than yourself. Be nice to people you normally wouldn't give the time of day. Then look for that hidden beauty people keep trying to show off. But can't seem to get anyone to see. Find it in someone else and you are golden.

 

Brains. The ability to take shit and give it right back. The ability to think using common sense and the power to forgive.

The above is largely bullshit. Guys always say that crap to make girls feel better, but it is only somewhat true.

So here is the truth. The truth is men are visual. A woman's looks are what attracts men. The above is what KEEPS a man - but there has to be the original attraction.

I'm going to keep being bluntly truthful here because the truth is always better than whatever lie we want to tell ourselves.

Women are always bitching about men not liking them for "who they are." Well, you are your body. Deal with it. No of course you are not only your body, but your body says a lot about who you are on the inside. Are you lazy and undisciplined? You will be fat and out of shape. Are you diligent and disciplined? Likely you will be fit and take care of your appearance.

Think about who you are attracted to. BE THE PERSON THAT ATTRACTS THE KIND OF PEOPLE YOU ARE ATTRACTED TO.

Are you pretty and have a hard time finding a handsome AND good guy? Maybe you should think about bettering your inner self to attract the good guys that want a good woman. Are you fat and want a fit guy? Get fit. It really is as simple as that. If you can't muster the inner strength to get fit, then you really don't deserve someone who has the inner strength to be fit. If you are tired of shallow people it is probably because you are shallow. Be better, you will get better.

There. I told you the truth. I know it is hard and feels cruel. It really isn't. The truth just is. As an analogy, everyone wants a great job, but few want to do the hard work it takes to be the person that will do well in that job.

I think dementia is half right. Looks do get u the guy but also how u carry urself. Where I live at its alot of big girls that have small bfs and its cause how they feel bout themselves. If u think ur the shit sometimes so will other people. But no one ever keep the fine girl with the stank attitude.

Am I visual as well, sure. To me though, someone who is cute with a great attitude and what I said about makes them hot as hell. Someone who is fucking hot and has a horrie attitude is just plain fucking ugly. I've been the guy who only wanted a 10.... Fuck that... I want someone who is down to earth and enjoys life. Not someone with a stick up their ass all the time.

Sorry, but no one speaks for me but me. And I'm pretty sure the others that you just said were lying would agree with me on that too. Looks are nice, no one is arguing that. But personality is more important than anything else.
