  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

See, why can't our clothes be awesome like that? I yearn for a time when clothing can depict how awesome individuals can be, but without stupid paintings of Hollywood icons, catchphrases, or lolspeech.

American society dresses like a frumpy douche. And the people that can afford to wear actual unique clothing all wear the same homogenized crap.

I think that's why I like Lady Gaga, she dresses herself up, and doesn't care what people think of her. That makes her cool in my book.

I completely agree with you. Americans tend to like the whole ghetto fab crap. with logos, labels, teams, and other crappy icons that really are not original. most of my clothes are a solid color, or something I made online to set them apart, also I wear cosplay stuff on a everyday basis and it looks good with other clothes depending on how you wear it. America is closed minded as opposed to other cultures, look at japanese clothing its nuts.

You're preaching to the choir friend. This whole American mindset of superiority gets old once you figure out where not the greatest nation in the world.

I've always wanted to play Edward Elrich from FMA..... But I'm not short enough, lol.

Shake, I don't mean literally everyone, just the portion I see in my daily life, which is to say, people that are of similiar age to me, the 19-23 crowd. I'm 21, and I hate that the clothing that is designed for people my age looks like shit.

I would dress like a business man everyday if I had the drive, but I've been feeling anhedonic for awhile. Also, I really only have one good suit.

I admit that I've gone as the Doctor every once in a while to a Con or party. Working on a Mal Reynolds, but I have to get my gun back from my brother so I can finish it first..

Who else have I wanted to play...

I like creating my own characters and writing stories and backgrounds for them. I guess there's no reason why I couldn't dress as my own creation. Creation a unique character and then dressing it in the real world is probably the epitome of cosplay.

I dress up like a pilot nearly everyday. Not an airline pilot, I'm going more for the GA pilot look.
I'm working on a civilian contractor costume, the standard khaki pants and blue shirt.

I'm dating a girl that is REALLY into all that anime stuff, and the common activities associated with it (incl. cosplay). There is a somewhat large expo in Boston that comes around yearly, I might go this year to get some candids for my portfolio, and to post on here :D

+1...I wear what I want because I like it. I love jeans and t-shirts cause they're comfortable. But I wear like South Pole because I like the clothes. I would never wear A & F or Hollister though....

I also hate the phrase "ghetto fab"...but maybe that's just me....
