There's a big difference though. We knew about Trump's situation when we elected him and we chose to ignore it. Plus, there have been no accusers more recent than 10 years ago. The others have been accused recently (well, except Roy Moore; those seem to date back 40 years.) If he has behaved himself in office, then I think the old cases are off limits. I would extend that courtesy to all who are accused of very old issues. It's who you are today that matters.

This is all setting a horrid precedent for the future. Who among us is squeaky clean enough to run for office, knowing that past indiscretions could come back to bite us? And if you're a guy in the dating scene today, you have to be scared shitless to have sex for fear that what seemed consensual was later deemed rape by the girl.

It's no surprise to see the old "but somebody else did it too," defense, which is not really a defense. It is the definition of hypocrisy, which means it's time to call other people hypocrites.

The last thing they will do is actually defend Donald Trump. They attack his attackers, and call them liars, but they won't say, "That's just not the kind of thing Trump would do. It's totally out of character." Not even a born again Trumpist can bring themselves to that. The thing Tumpocites share with their dear leader is a dread fear of being laughed at in public.

 

The main reason Sanders did not get the nod from the democrats was because of the cheating done by the DNC, Hillary, and the Obama administration.
