I'm surprised the GOP hasn't circled the wagons around Gaetz. He's the obvious heir to Trump's legacy, assuming Ivanka doesn't run. He's 38 years old and likes to share phone videos of naked women with hula hoops. What Republican wouldn't love that.

I watched the Tucker Carlson interview with Gaetz. I thought it was strange when Gaetz said he had always been generous to exgirlfriends and people would try to make something of it. It was an oddly specific answer to a question nobody asked.

Today, it was revealed that he paid women for sex with phone apps.

The best part of the interview was when he reminded Carlson of the time Tucker and wife had dinner with Matt and girlfriend. Carlson said he didn't remember such a thing.

 

I didn't start a new thread because after all Gaetz is a leader of the Republican Party. But I think Thinskin is right and developments are moving too fast and furious to keep up with just one thread. Such as this.

As I have said many times people in Congress know 10 times as much as the public knows. Conservative/Republicans have known for months Gaetz is under investigation but they kept silent about it because maybe Gaetz could buy his way out of it or when it did break it might not be that bad. But now that it has even with multiple bombshells coming every day they know the worst is yet to come.

And the way we know that is people associated with Gaetz are starting to bail and lie about the reasons for it. Conservative/Republicans don't resign over principles because they have none. They resign when they know there is no hope and the shit stain is so terrible they want to get away from it.

Scandal-plagued Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) just lost his first major staff member in the wake of multiple bombshell scandals.

MSNBC's Chris Jansing reports that Luke Ball has resigned "out of principle" from his job as Gaetz's communications director, thus leaving the Florida congressman without a top communications strategist during a time of crisis.

In just the last 24 hours alone, reports have emerged that Gaetz allegedly shared nude photos and videos of women he slept with to impress his colleagues in Congress; that investigators have uncovered ties between Gaetz and a fake ID scheme; and even that he potentially paid for sex with women using the Apple Pay mobile payment platform.

Gaetz has continued to insist that he did nothing wrong, but so far only Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) have vouched for his innocence.

If it is found..in a court of law that Matthew did something illegal, so be it and and the extent of the law should be used..until then....this is nothing more than political noise...because he is using his voice for his constituents...and we all know, speaking for the people is a no-no according to the hypocritical radical leftists/socialists/communists.

Plus then you add to that that Greenberg, the ex-tax collector from Seminole county, was forced to step down over the same charges. And it appears Greenberg and Geatz are very close!

You need to get fully behind Gaetz and do everything to insure he is the Republican candidate for President in 2024. A candidate who shows naked pics of his "girlfriends" to co-workers will certainly bring the women's vote back to the GOP.

 

This is exactly why I used to have a bumper sticker that read piss tests for Congress. They forced something on the working people of this country that many of them couldn't pass themselves.

Matt Gaetz (R-FL) not only paid women for sex, but according to The New York Times, allegedly used the illegal hallucinogenic drug ecstasy to fuel those encounters. On social media some are criticizing and mocking the Florida Republican for massive hypocrisy, given that a decade ago he was strongly promoting legislation to drug test welfare recipients.

In 2011 Gaetz was a Florida state representative making a name for himself – which was not too hard to do given his father was a Florida state senator from 2006-2016. Gaetz was pushing for people who use welfare to be tested for illegal drug use, which Business Insider is also reporting today, despite studies proving those who use welfare are statistically less-likely to use drugs.

For example, in 2014 Tennessee enacted a drug testing law for welfare recipients. In its first month it tested 808 people. One tested positive for drug use.

Gaetz insisted that applying for welfare is voluntary, so it's only fair he implied, that applicants should be tested for the presence of illegal drugs.

According to a report from the U.K. news outlet The Daily Mail, Florida GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz "is expected" to be indicted "within the next few weeks" after his friend Joel Greenberg allegedly turned against him and is cooperating with the investigation into Gaetz's alleged sex crimes.

"Greenberg, who was elected Seminole County Tax Collector in 2016, is currently in jail awaiting trial after being slapped with a string of charges last year including sex trafficking a minor between the age of 14 and 17," the Mail reports.

"The congressman impugned and damaged the reputation of someone who had nothing to do with this,' a alleged source close to the investigation told DailyMail.com. "Rest assured that Greenberg has been singing to the feds about his friend Matt Gaetz. That's why Matt is so freaked out."

The Mail goes on to claim that Gaetz's arrest is "said to be imminent" after the unidentified alleged victim testified before a Florida grand jury this week saying she had sex with the conservative Republican before she turned 18.

Feel free to tell us you don't believe Gaetz shared a video of a naked woman twirling a hula hoop around her waist, and then said he fucked her. After all, in the Court of Public Opinion, irrefutable proof is the standard of evidence.

Another plausible scenario is that Matt just found the video and doesn't know the woman. This makes him appear to be an insecure creep.

His fellow Congressmen could be lying about the video, just to make him look like an insecure creep.

The question at hand is about how to win women voters for the GOP. Matt Gaetz has this under control because women really admire a man who shares naked pics of his girlfriend with coworkers.

The unanswered question is, who the fuck has a hula hoop in the year 2021?

Roger Stone offers Matt Gaetz potentially disastrous advice

Republican operative and pro-Trump dirty trickster Roger Stone, a man well acquainted with indictment (in his case for lying to Congress and witness tampering), is urging Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., the charismatic Trump ally now embroiled in seemingly bottomless scandal, to potentially incriminate himself further by going on "offense" and continuing to appear on cable news.

"He needs to go on offense, this is right upfront in Stone's Rules," Stone told conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on his Infowars program. "The left-wing, non-journalist, fake-news media are the most vicious, malicious, dishonest people that I have ever come across," the GOP operative continued. "All of these stories that are maligning Matt Gaetz today are based on leaks. Where is the beef? Where are the facts? I don't think there are any facts. I think this is a good old-fashioned smear." Later in the segment, Stone encouraged Gaetz to stay in the public eye, not hide in a "hole," and make additional TV appearances. "He [Matt Gaetz] should not go hide in a hole, he should be out there, like he was on Tucker [Carlson] last night," Stone added.

As additional allegations about Gaetz continue to surface, Stone has kept on defending him enthusiastically, despite a Thursday night CNN report that Gaetz showed off nude pictures and videos of women he had sex with to fellow lawmakers on the House floor. "CNN Doesn't identify the lawmakers making these FAKE allegations against Gaetz because they have no evidence or documentation. Loathsome bottom feeders," Stone wrote on Parler after the story broke.

Stone didn't return multiple requests for comment from Salon as to why he continues to back Gaetz. The veteran GOP operative has refused to speak to this reporter after learning he now works for Salon, claiming that this site isn't a "legitimate news organization."

Following the initial report about the Department of Justice probe of Gaetz's personal life that emerged on Tuesday from The New York Times, Stone wrote on Parler, "I am going to public humiliate [sic] New York Times reporter Mike Schmidt tomorrow. He is the single most dishonest fabricator of the Russian hoax narrative in American press corps. And now he's doing it again with the smear of Matt Gaetz. Watch for the slap-down of this cretin."

No discernible "slap-down" came from Stone on Wednesday, although he continued to attack the media in Parler posts, writing: "The 'leaked' smear on Congressman Matt Gaetz is an extortion play and an effort to destroy the up-and-coming conservative leader who has the balls to call the left out."

In other Stone-adjacent news, two additional members of the Oath Keepers militia-style group, who were part of Stone's security detail on Jan. 6, were added to a conspiracy indictment relating to the Capitol siege, which court documents allege that Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes helped to spearhead.

The Washington Post summarized those charges in a report published on Thursday:

In a new indictment adding previously charged Stone guards Joshua James, 33, of Arab, Ala., and Roberto Minuta, 36, of Prosper, Tex., to an Oath Keepers conspiracy case that now has 12 defendants, prosecutors bluntly laid a path to Rhodes and a person they said he put in charge of his group's operations that day.
