We have disabled children who suffer daily too. Is their punishment justified? Can any of us say that so many people deserve to live impaired because they need to learn a lesson? For some preordained and unexplainable methodology mapped out thousands of years ago?

I think God must be an evil deity if any of this is allowed to happen.

Just for fun...we know that God allows certain things like wars and desease and pestilence which afflict man and cause great suffering. our argument is " if God were a just and fair God he would not allow these things." So...there are certain activities that humans participate in that are called "sin." doesnt it stand to reason that a just, fair and decent God he would take away your penises or vaginas so you wouldnt go to a porn web site and mastrubate? And take away your eyes so you wouldnt be tempted by images of pornography? And wouldnt he also make you deaf so that the sexualy explicet words that might cause you to sin could not be heard? And he would also take your voice so you couldnt say things that might tempt others too...wouldnt he?

If Gods justice were dispensed upon the world instead of his grace I can assure you that you wouldnt want to be hanging around.

 

Now that I have watched the video I also have to add that this guys understanding of scripture is very simplistic and under developed and has no idea the standards that God lays out even for unbelievers to be redeamed as well as believers. Yes...its true...there are loopholes that God left open for others too.

Be So Simple...

 

I've always thought of God as a scientist who created the world and everything and just sat back and watched what his creations ended up doing.

He's definitely not doing anything to help us, but he also isn't doing anything against us. He isn't interfering with the world, or humans, or anything else out in the vast universe. He's simply watching... admiring perhaps. Maybe even disgusted at his creations.

But, I don't even know if I believe in any kind of God. It's one of the unanswered questions in my life.

 

Strangely accurate. What transpires here isnt subject to his medeling on a day to day basis. It doesnt require it. We make our own choices and determine our own course. His involvemet only happens on rare occasions and to be honest, I dont think anybody really notices when he does.
