  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Ok. I did a search and didn't turn anything up so here it is:

If you could change one thing about your past, what would it be?

    Anything you want.

I would change the fact that I was married before my current husband. #1 was a HUGE mistake. But then I may not be the same person I am today. Emotional hardships like that tend to make a person stronger.

    What about you guys?

    Past regret

I would spend WAY more time with my sister and brother who have both died. Yet losing them has taught me to live each day to the fullest and be sure those around you know how much they mean to you.

quite a few things, although I agree that your past shapes who you are but a couple come to mind

I would like to have worked harder in school and not ended up being an average student with an exceptional mind

I would like to have been smart enough to use my head before doing something stupid that eventually added onto other things gave me a reputation as a badass with my peers but most importantyl as a no good troublemaker with every single teacher/administrator I have ever come across

This is the most important one-I wish I had NEVER EVER quit sports at a young age, especially baseball and basketball because if I hadn't I could easily be a two sport athlete in college

I have made so many mistakes in my life, so many.

Yet knowing who I am today, I would be afraid to attempt to undo any one of them, even the ones which made my life terribly hard for years after I made them.

If I could be sure that I could erase events of my past yet still be standing where I am today, I might be tempted though.

One of mine is a typical one.. I would've worked harder in High School in order to get some scholarships and the like. Like Baller said "Average student with an exceptional mind" is me in a nutshell, and I wish I could change that.

I would also have spent more time with my sister before she moved far away so that I can't see her very often, as she has a child, I like to spend as much time as possible with her and my nephew. They are great.

I so agree with this. There are many things I wish didn't happen, but to change any of that may change the person I am today. I'm really starting to like the person I am and I don't want her to go away.

I have a good many of things.

    1. Not wasted 20 years trying to get my mother to love me, just to have forgot about her when the door hit her in the ass as she left. She did nothing but hurt me in the end and left me more confused than I was before.

    2. Took better care of my body, I am now suffering the result of not fitting exercise into my then busy life. I struggled to even finish my homework at night so on the weekends, I was too exhausted to move.

    3. Not to have lied to the doctors. If they knew that I was still sick, I would have been on the meds still. They would have also caught my current problem quickly and seen to it that it stopped.

    4. Actually tried in school. I could have been the best, my test scores were evidence of that but I got burned out and nothing mattered anymore. After 8 hours of school, I had another 8 hours of homework so for 16 hours a day, I was beating my head against books and all I was left with was 8 hours to sleep just so I could go and do it again the next day.

    5. Never stopped drawing. I stopped drawing for 5 years because in middle school the principal told me to. He threatened to have me kicked out if I kept drawing. Art was my only passion in life and as a favor to a friend, I was drawing some gruesome scenes because he was a writer. I accidently had stuffed my art book in with my other books. A teacher was snooping around my bag and found the pictures and reported me, thinking I was a danger to the other students.

    6. I would have talked more to people. No one back home knows me, they forgot who I was. I didn't leave any sort of impression on them. I was too shy to talk to people, I didn't choose to be shy but if I had tried harder, even if I stuttered and stammered the whole time... maybe I would have had friends or be more outgoing now.

off the top of my head, these are my real regrets.

    what to change

I see so many things that each of you wish you had or had not done, or wished you had.
The world has not stopped. Some of those things can still be accomplished. Drawing stands out..
    Closer to family.. yes.
The thing that stands out in my mind most of all is that I left an oppertunity with a major fiction writer, but then I would not have become a professional photographer.. dammed if you do and dammed if you don't
Am I loosing sleep over it HELL NO!

Every step we take is a positive one, even if it reverses an earlier step...provided that we grow by it or learn something from it.

I might have done some things differently if I had it to do over, but those were the choices I made at the time, and were the best I could do. No sense dwelling on them. :D

    That i didn't lose great friendships unnecessarily, even though they have shaped me and given me the liberty i needed;
that i would have made better choices when it came to men
that i had taken opportunities that i was too scared to take
that id never had hurt my family and never lost the closeness and trust that took a long time to rebuild.

i have an ex which caused me great problems... but i have 2 beautiful kids with??? that answers itself really!
finally most important i would never have started smoking!!! because it IS A KILLER it's nearly seen me off i can't even kick a ball with my 8 yr old son because of them and they haven't shaped or created anything in my life apart from an eary early grave!!!
to all of you DITCH THE FAGS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE...:)

I've thought about this for a couple of days now. I think the only thing I would have changed would have been to better define a career path while I was in college.

Yes, I realize I can still make a change, but I STILL CAN'T DECIDE what I want to be when I grow up. By the time I get life figured out, it will have passed me by.

God, that sounds like me. When I started college I figured that I'd know by the time I was done with generals. Didn't happen.

    Caffeine,

Don't beat yourself up that you don't know what you want to do with your life. A wise man once sang (well sort of sang) that some of the most interesting 40 year olds he knew still didn't know what they wanted to do with their lives.

You'll either work it out or have some great times while you work it out.

Life is what happens while we're waiting for our plans to work out.

    Enjoy while it's there.

Oh fuck it! I was going to say I wouldn't change a thing because it's what made me who I am and got me with who I'm with but then I read the thread about the musical amongst you and I really regret never having learned an instrument.

And I know it's not too late but it's not easy with 3 kids and a job to fit in time to practice. Maybe when the sprouts have grown a bit I'll find the time.

I'm wuite into blues and always fancied learning the harmonica. Anyone know how hard it is, say relative to learning guitar?

I don't date a lot, as I am very careful and very choosy about who I do date. If I could change one thing though, it would have to be losing my virginity when I did. I want it back, I gave it away to a person I shouldn't have.
