Has anyone been to either of the Fantasylands in Tampa FL?
What are they like? Are they worth going to?

From people I know it is a massive store, good selections, rude personnel, respectful customers, and theaters. Never been there but that is all from friends that have.

 

We went there a few years ago thinking it was just a toy shop. My wife got kinda uncomfortable because the counter man kept offering for us to go back to the "arcade" He kept lower the entry fee till it was free,lol. There is another place we got the same treatment at in Hudson. In hind site, had we been more informed/ prepared for it, it would have gone a lot differently and we most likely would have gone in.

 

Was the place clean? Did it look like something that would be safe to go to?

 

If you are from that area, you know where to go and where not to go,lol. We felt safe and the place over all was clean. But like I said, we never did go back to the arcade area. If we ever manage to make it out that way again, we will be stopping in and going to the arcade area.
I'm sure it's called something else, but we call all those kind of areas an arcade.

 

We are newish to the area, we don't know any good places to go

 

Fantasyland is a good starting point. Caliente in Land O Lakes is a pretty good spot, more of a sexy club scene than a sex shop. Get a day pass before you fork over the year membership and see how you like it. Paradise Lakes is an older crowd area, your stereotypical nudist. They're some youngins that go there to see what it's all about, but don't usually stay.
