Just wondering, since everyone has different thoughts about this...

How many of you don't do Internet Relationships and how many of you do?

And do you cyber? If so, do you only do it with someone your in a relationship with, close to, someone you've met, someone you know, or with anyone just for fun?

I don't cyber with people I don't know because hwo am I supposed to know there isn't a 58 year old guy on the other end? Internet dating is very risky and I would much rather ask a girl out in person. On occasion if asked to cyber with a gf I might but that's about it. and this topic hasn't been done before to my knowledge.

 

Guess I used to cyber, when I was 15 and it was novel. Now, I have a real girl to devote my love to.

 

Same here. I don't get into internet relationships or cyber a lot at all. Although when I was younger, I did used to cyber until I learned more about who could be on the other end and such. :roll: So I guess you can say I'm experienced.
But I only cyber with a boyfriend if asked or it's just somehow brought up.
As for online dating - I don't do that a lot at all.

 

yeah well in your case it's most likely a guy on the other end and that's I'm guessing what you thought it was but in my case it's most likely a guy on the other end who claims to be a hot 18 year old girl. I'd much rather do the real thing than type "ohhh baby that feels so good" because I would be talking to my right hand when I was typing that :wink:

I don't know about cyber. I guess as long as you don't give much info on yourself, it's ok. Keep as low profile as possble, because you don't know who's on the other end.

I have dated from the internet, and have had good success. I would be lying if I said every date was great, but overall, it wasn't bad. And, always meet in a public place, there you have an out.

I suppose if the crunch ever came and I was single again I'd certainly try internet dating since I know a few people it has worked for (and one horror story :shock: ).....

 

Haha. Yeah, it's a guy. I don't mind a girl in a threesome or even touching/licking her but I wouldn't say I'm bi.

I've done a fair amount of cybering in a chatroom I used to frequent. I guess I can understand the guys being concerned about who's on the other end, but for girls, it's not an issue.

I don't know why, but I think it's kind of fun. Maybe it's the idea of getting complete strangers off from a distance of thousands of miles. :wink:

Either way, I don't care. I'm perfectly willing to believe that someone on the net is exactly who they claim to be, for purposes of a fantasy or role play or whatever. What's the harm, as long as it's limited to cybersex?

I have done both. Cybering was with my wife when I was married to her and we were not together due to work. And since I never faired very well dating to begin with,and now that I am single the internet has been rather good to me when it comes to dating. But as far as cybering just to be cybering, the forum is about as close as I get...lol

 

I've done both. I actually met my fiance online, and for a few months we were an online relationship. Then we moved in together, and now whenever we are seperate we cyber or have phone sex.
