One thing that appears to be deliberately overlooked here is the only thing truly historic about this summit is Trump is giving North Korea one of things they have always wanted the most which is direct negotiations with a US president to legitimatize their dictatorship. Sitting down with Kim Jong Un face to face is the only thing that is truly different because multiple US presidents have negotiated with North Korea and thought they made a deal. Only to find North Korea was just jerking their chains and buying time.

 

Well let's watch Trump say bye-bye to Singapore and all of the American tax dollars that went into the meeting.

Just like the G7 he will leave beore anything is even done leaving taxpayers with a big pricetag.

Kim with nukes is a big man - Kim has done something that no one thought possible - he has gotten an American President to the come to the negotiating table. Kim without nukes is just another dictator, so why give up the nukes?
