Special guy for Valentines Day? Seems like no matter what its never what she wanted. Cards flowers chocolate dinner. Personally I hate the day . Seems like no matter what its never enough. Oh and who writes thoseVday cards. I Been married 30 years rarely does a card express how I really feel.

 

Pick a card that fits closely to how you feel, then write a note that says exactly how you feel and tuck it inside the card.

 

I mean I am not really picky so I mean I am okay with him just sending me a video of himself singing me my favorite song or sending me a Valentine's Day video of himself. I am long distance relationship I can't send anything unless I want to get spoiled or perhaps even ruin or take months just to get there.

Maybe make a video of you together, perhaps have pics of you and herself together and make a collage either by hand or electronically, see if she likes that?

 

I don't care for Vday. If I did have a girlfirend, I'd clean the house and leave a note saying "We can make it dirty again".

 

The past week I have written out countless flower cards and giving advice to guys and making sure that the flowers are perfect for their partners and then hearing them squirm as they place orders for more than one woman.

 

when i had a girlfriend i would rent a private sauna/wellness...i can be wrong but i think most women like it...and you can guess what happend after having relaxed for about 10minutes and seeing each other naked

but sometimes I wish for a hand written letter or card because I am a sap. One time I found one he wrote and thought someone else wrote it so I made a very wrong comment. Wish I could take back bc it was an awesome thing to read once I realized it was from him. My comment ruined that for me though even though not directed to him and what he wrote to me at all

We don't do "Hallmark" holidays like Valentines or Sweetest Day.
Treat each other right year around and you don't have to have a special day for it.

I like it when someone cooks me dinner. I'm trying to convince one of my partners not to take me out.

 

I've been giving my wife, valentine cards, birthday cards, Christmas cards, mother day cards and every other card a husband is supposed to give, for over thirty plus years. And I always take my time picking out a card that express some of my feelings. The reason I take my time and always get her a card on those days, is because I know it's something she likes and looks forward to. And I do those things throughout the year, that shows my love and shows her how I feel. It's the little things, bringing home the dark chocolate candy bar that I know she loves, sending her flowers for no reason at all. You show your love throughout the year, not just on one fucking day. We're all being legally scammed, it's a ploy for the florist and greeting card companies to get a buck out of us. Oh, let's not forget the restaurant industry, winter time is not there best time of year.

 

A card, chocolates, flowers. Whatever. I mainly just want to be with him (though chocolates don't hurt lol). I really don't expect anything. However, I always like to give the guy I'm with candy and a card, maybe a little gift, make a nice dinner, and give him a massage with a happy ending

 

This is the first year I've had a boyfriend for valentine's day it's not a,big deal lol extra hot sex and chocolate is all I really want flowers are nice too.

 

I'm getting my girlfriend a card, a perfume sampler (five different mini-bottles that she'll probably like at least one of, not one big one that she might not like at all), and taking her to dinner.

 

I've had a hard enough time wrapping my head around more important holidays, so Valentines day is somewhat lost on me. Frankly, it sounds to me like the way everyday should be, but that's just how we live, and I suppose 24/7/365 expressions of emotion and lust isn't desired by everybody.

A good dinner you cooked yourself and a foot massage goes a long way. A lot further than cards, flowers and candy.

I used to go for jewelery on top of that. I'm a little... artsy. So I have great tase for that kind of stuff. But I don't bother anymore. My ex girlfriend would wear them so seldom, we both decided it's not worth it. Nice jewelery is expensive any way you slice it.

After many years, it's the first Valentines I'll be cooking dinner for one...
