    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

      Be careful how you store the bacon once you've finished curing and all. My brother just smoked and cured a batch, and a couple week later one of the packages that weren't frozen developed mold... Lucky it was only a small chunk.

    Bacon cooking tip: always put bacon in a cold pan or grill and then turn on the heat. It cooks more evenly and you get the desired texture. If you put cold bacon in a hot pan, it curls up and then it cooks unevenly, so some bits stay raw while others get crisp.

    Also crisp is the only way to eat it.

      You can also make it in the oven, 350°F for 15 minutes (check at 12 to make sure)! Place on paper towel to absorb any grease.

    A guy at work makes the best bacon so I'm spoiled now!! Usually we all have a Wednesday meal together and sometimes we have brunch food including really crispy bacon!! It's perfect!

    I can't eat bacon anymore. :( But when I did, I would just throw the whole slab in the frying pan and separate it with a fork a little at a time letting the heat and melting bacon fat help. Then cook it till it's crispy. Has to be crispy.
