Also, the Taliban aren't "freedom fighters" or any other BS like people can try to make the case with al Qaeda or whatever else. They're a government, a very brutal and restrictive one. I highly doubt there are any innocent people fighting for the Taliban.

A US soldier who pisses on Taliban corpses cannot claim any moral high ground over the Taliban - they're both as sick as eachother. Yes, the Taliban are cunts, but US soldiers who partake in such dispicable acts are no better.

There's no difference between wrong and wrong.

 

In the past, the daily mirror newspaper hoaxed a story of British Soldiers urinating on Iraqi prisoners using fake photographs. Causing great harm to the winning of hearts and minds.

It is extremely easy to fake videos or stage fake scenes with modern technology.

I'm not saying the video is fake, I've not even watched it. But I wouldn't jump to conclusions till all the facts come out.

 

Sick as each other? I suggest you do some research into the Taliban. I'm not condoning the alleged actions. If they prove to be true, they should be disciplined appropriately. But there is a difference between the actions of the Taliban and pissing on a corpse. I would argue that urinating on a living person is significantly worse than urinating on something that no longer feels emotions.

There are rules of engagement that civilized armies adhere to and for them to step outside of those rules makes them no better than the taliban.

Hopefully The Administration will come down hard on these arse holes or it will be considered another Mai Lai Massacre cover up by anti-American extremists every where.

 

We'll have to wait and see how this story unfolds. If it is true then certainly these soldiers were out of line and not acting as representatives of their country.

It is a disgraceful act indeed, but I am not there so my opinion is inconsequential.
