  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

My hope is that everyone has a safe, and happy Christmas, and that we all take the time to remember those who serve in order for our lives, and the lives of others around the world remain safe, and that they can live their lives in peace.

That we remember the love of family, and the sacrifices we make for each other, as well as the love we realize when a family member returns from a long absence.

    Merry Christmas everyone.
Take care, and be good to yourselves.

    It's Christmas.
A time to recognize the emotional bonds we so often take for granted, which is likely the only reason it was permitted.

It's a shame that we so often forget the importance of others, and that each and every one of us matter until they are gone.
When our family members are in harms way, and actually manage to come home, the intensity of emotions we tend to bury, flood out from the depths within us.
It's a pity that it takes extremes for us to recognize that it's their inclusion in our lives that make us whole.

    It's Christmas!
A time for sharing, for holding those we love close, that each, and every one of us matters, and if for nothing else, a time for healing.
A good reason to allow a representation of the intensity of emotions for the people who are so dear to us.

It's Christmas.......it's time to put stress on your credit card.
To buy presents that no one wants, remember to save the receipts so the recipient can return your well thought out gift and replace it with something they really want.

It's that time if year when commercialism goes crazy.

    Bah humbug... :D

I dont give a tender tinkers fuck about the reasons why you were permitted to break the rules...

I do infact give real fuck that you were permitted to break the rules.....it's fucked up, no matter what the reason is.

My issue is not with you freespiritx, it's with the administration.

@ace's n 8's I understand your position on the rules, and respect how you feel about them.
My hope is that you can understand the reasons permission was granted this one time, since it wasn't for anything other than showing such a heartwarming example of the love we're capable of, in a world that all too often has become filled with hatred, and wars, and the misery visited upon us because of it.

Christmas is an extraordinary time of year, where for at least a moment in time, we tend to be a bit more forgiving of what we often see as intrusions, or slights against us. Where we become a bit more generous with sharing our good fortune however modest with those who are less fortunate.

In this case, the administration was being kind enough to allow my posting of this video for that one time of year, where we actually attempt to try, and come together to celebrate what we could be, instead of the horrors we all to often see on the news throughout the year.

Personally, I feel that the administration was giving us a gift by allowing this thread with all of it's content, where we as our own little community being XNXX, might recognize the importance of each, and every one of us to each other, even with the often extreme differences in opinions here on XNXX, as well as the possibilities of what we could be as a sort of XNXX family, including our black sheep every family has. LOL

That being said, this threads intent was to give each of us an opportunity to wish each other a safe, and Merry Christmas.
    So, Merry Christmas @ace's n 8's.
Take care, and be good to yourself.

    @freespiritx

    What Ace's is saying is.....
Heartwarming, the spirit of xmas, etc etc shouldn't come into it......it's a clear violation of the forum rules how they are written.

years ago it was determined that underage pics no matter how innocent they may be attract pedos.

Allowing you to post that vid could be interpreted as being biased if someone else tries to post something similar and is suspended or banned for it.

I understand how people might feel that way, but I also opened the original post with "I want everyone to know that I asked for special permission in order to include the YouTube post that I've added, and isn't a precedent for others to make similar posts without first having permission from the Administration", so that members wouldn't make a post without having administration review it, and be given permission.

It isn't any different than picking up a house, and moving it down a highway. It's illegal! But if the situation is reviewed by the powers that be, permits are arranged, and permission given, then there isn't any bias, laws, or rules broken. There is a difference, which is why I first asked for permission to make the post. I hope people will understand that.

You getting permission to break the rules because it's Xmas is bullshit.

Whether you got permission or not is a clear violation of the rules as they are written.....and no matter how it is twisted or worded it could be perceived as being biased.

@69magpie I hope you haven't misunderstood what I'd written. I'm not trying to argue. Not at all. All I was saying, is that basically, I'd found a video that represented what I see as being such an important part of how people are at Christmas, and other times when it comes to people who are so important to us come home. That's all.
I wasn't trying to break any rules, which is why I asked for permission to make the post.

This thread has been on line for a week now, and there hasn't been any issues, and I think that's because of the intent of the post. I wasn't trying to create any controversy. Simply to just start a thread where we can recognize the importance we have in each others life, and celebrate that fact. To share in the celebration which Christmas is. That's all. I hope you can see it that way.

Shooter wants to get this thing back on track.
Any members who feel the compulsion to argue about the rules, and how or if exceptions should be granted, ought to start their own thread. Arguing about it here is a downer on the Christmas spirit, and it's beginning to piss Shooter off a bit.

    In any case, when Shooter was but a lad and started questioning just how real Santa was, his mamma sat him down and explained it all to him. And when Shooter's kids started questioning just how it was that a fat man could get down a chimney, Shooter sat them down and explained it to them;

See, you are right, a fat man in a red suit can't magically zoom down every chimney in the world in one night and bring gifts to all the people on the planet. There isn't a jolly fellow who lives at the North Pole with his Reindeer, one of which has a shiny nose, and all that.
So, why did we tell you all that when you were little?
Because when you were little you wouldn't understand what the "spirit of Christmas" really is, so all the parents got together and over the years we came up with this Santa fellow. Now that you've gotten old enough to see through some of the nonsense, it's time to explain what the "Spirit of Christmas" really is.

See, Christmas isn't about getting stuff, not really.
Remember how happy you were when you got Becky (a doll my daughter had seen months before, and insisted it was her baby) and remember how happy you were when you got your Nintendo? (And my son STILL spends far too much time playing video games)
Every Christmas the two of you would just about have a stroke about Christmas and what Santa was going to bring you and how important it was that Santa knew just exactly, precisely what it was that you wanted that year. You'd all but refuse to sleep, cause you simply could not, on Christmas eve, and you'd be up before dawn jumping on our bed and screeching about how Santa had come, and get up!!

So here's the thing. The spirit of Christmas isn't about getting stuff. It's about being Santa. That's right. Do you think Santa gave you all that stuff because he owed it to you, or because he liked you?
    Nope.
It's because giving is always better than receiving. As much joy as you felt when you opened your stuff, it's about 10 times more exciting when you do the giving, and not the receiving. Think about how much fun it would be to give some little girl her Becky, or some little boy his Nintendo.
Think about it for a moment.
And remember when we went out and got Mom her new Santa? (Shooters wife has a thing for Santas, but that's another story) and how good it felt when she opened it and put it on the table?

Of course, neither of Shooters kids bought this line; both of them decided it was better to receive than give. Shooter had to find a better way to explain the "spirit of Christmas". He decided we'd go shopping.

The first thing we did was go to McDonalds drive through. When we pulled up to the pay window, Shooter asked what the bill was for the car behind us, and then he paid for that car as well, and asked the kid at the window to just tell the people in the car behind that Santa had stopped by and paid for it, not to point us out.

Next, we went to the mall and in short order spotted a guy in uniform with a couple of toys in the checkout lane. When he went to pay, Shooter stuck his card in the clerks face and told the guy "Thanks for your service, Merry Christmas". The guy tried to stop it, but the clerk was quicker than a banker collecting a debt. The guy of course thanked us, and wished us Merry Christmas.

Then we went to the mall center where they had the big Christmas tree with the names of foster kids and what they wanted for Christmas. Shooter had his kids pick a kid and then go shopping for the kid.

And at the end of it all, on the way home, Shooter asked if they understood. Shooter's daughter said she still liked getting better than receiving, and Shooters son asked if he was still getting stuff for Christmas.
But the thing is, now that they are adults, both of Shooter's kids engage in random acts of kindness year round, and
