  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Shooter wants to get this thing back on track.
Any members who feel the compulsion to argue about the rules, and how or if exceptions should be granted, ought to start their own thread. Arguing about it here is a downer on the Christmas spirit, and it's beginning to piss Shooter off a bit.

    In any case, when Shooter was but a lad and started questioning just how real Santa was, his mamma sat him down and explained it all to him. And when Shooter's kids started questioning just how it was that a fat man could get down a chimney, Shooter sat them down and explained it to them;

See, you are right, a fat man in a red suit can't magically zoom down every chimney in the world in one night and bring gifts to all the people on the planet. There isn't a jolly fellow who lives at the North Pole with his Reindeer, one of which has a shiny nose, and all that.
So, why did we tell you all that when you were little?
Because when you were little you wouldn't understand what the "spirit of Christmas" really is, so all the parents got together and over the years we came up with this Santa fellow. Now that you've gotten old enough to see through some of the nonsense, it's time to explain what the "Spirit of Christmas" really is.

See, Christmas isn't about getting stuff, not really.
Remember how happy you were when you got Becky (a doll my daughter had seen months before, and insisted it was her baby) and remember how happy you were when you got your Nintendo? (And my son STILL spends far too much time playing video games)
Every Christmas the two of you would just about have a stroke about Christmas and what Santa was going to bring you and how important it was that Santa knew just exactly, precisely what it was that you wanted that year. You'd all but refuse to sleep, cause you simply could not, on Christmas eve, and you'd be up before dawn jumping on our bed and screeching about how Santa had come, and get up!!

So here's the thing. The spirit of Christmas isn't about getting stuff. It's about being Santa. That's right. Do you think Santa gave you all that stuff because he owed it to you, or because he liked you?
    Nope.
It's because giving is always better than receiving. As much joy as you felt when you opened your stuff, it's about 10 times more exciting when you do the giving, and not the receiving. Think about how much fun it would be to give some little girl her Becky, or some little boy his Nintendo.
Think about it for a moment.
And remember when we went out and got Mom her new Santa? (Shooters wife has a thing for Santas, but that's another story) and how good it felt when she opened it and put it on the table?

Of course, neither of Shooters kids bought this line; both of them decided it was better to receive than give. Shooter had to find a better way to explain the "spirit of Christmas". He decided we'd go shopping.

The first thing we did was go to McDonalds drive through. When we pulled up to the pay window, Shooter asked what the bill was for the car behind us, and then he paid for that car as well, and asked the kid at the window to just tell the people in the car behind that Santa had stopped by and paid for it, not to point us out.

Next, we went to the mall and in short order spotted a guy in uniform with a couple of toys in the checkout lane. When he went to pay, Shooter stuck his card in the clerks face and told the guy "Thanks for your service, Merry Christmas". The guy tried to stop it, but the clerk was quicker than a banker collecting a debt. The guy of course thanked us, and wished us Merry Christmas.

Then we went to the mall center where they had the big Christmas tree with the names of foster kids and what they wanted for Christmas. Shooter had his kids pick a kid and then go shopping for the kid.

And at the end of it all, on the way home, Shooter asked if they understood. Shooter's daughter said she still liked getting better than receiving, and Shooters son asked if he was still getting stuff for Christmas.
But the thing is, now that they are adults, both of Shooter's kids engage in random acts of kindness year round, and clearly they enjoy doing it a lot. So, maybe they do get it after all.

'' I think'' I need my own set of special rules that apply to just me. Good flexible rules that let me know I'm doing something wrong but that aren't too harsh on me and with no banning me at all, just firm pleasant warnings reminding me to be good.. Because I never mean to break rules intentionally and I've read thru the rules and I have serious attention deficit disorder and all of the things start hurting my head trying to remember & make meaning of them, no matter how simple. So I think ''May's Rules'' for me would be really cool....

May's rules! would that include a soft sensual spanking for any violations? If so, I think most here would help you with any potential punishments. LOL

Of course it would include soft sensual spanking while pulling my hair lightly. Including anything that can punish me without hurting me because I hate pain, but any kind of discipline to punish me for violating the rules gently but firmly letting me know that I was bad are fine. Tying me up and light flogging, teasing me with toys while I'm bound getting me close to, but not over the edge, and any other imaginative discipline you can think of. I'm often doing things that I'm needing punished for. Commence with my punishment. I think.

@69magpie alright, you want it like this, it will be like this. For once, I wanted to be nice to you all.. but it can't be done, you want strict and not friendly forum, you got it. PS: I can give exception from the rules, because I wrote them.

    This thread will be deleted.

'' I think'' that there can be a balance between a strict & friendly forum. I mean most of the time I jump into some threads to lighten them up, or try to anyway. Especially a thread where everyone is starting to get to heated up but I try to keep within the subject of the threads topic, entwining it with some kind of humor in hope that people will ease up and focus on my stupidity. It's all a learning progress for me on the whole interacting in the forum and threads properly but not quite there yet. Can't we have our differences of opinions in debate friendly or at least look at my tits to help take the pressure off.
This ramble may only make sense to me but oh well, nothing new. I think.

The post was edited to better comply with rules. As to Cartman... I don't think it is an issue. The whole cartoon is adult.

    Shit.
So now even the Administrator, or Mod, or whatever Stanley is, insists on continuing to derail this thread.
    Shooter shakes his head despondently.

While people on here are complaining about Christmas people in Jackson, Ms. are putting Christmas trees in pot holes.
Now if they can find a lot of 12' trees they could decorate even more. The star on top would even stick out.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If I hadn't added that first paragraph, either a new member, or another member might have made a post that could have caused them difficulties if they hadn't first asked permission from the admin. So it had nothing to do with the first paragraph which was the right thing to do, but because two members have decided that everything is to be black, and white, with shades of grey by getting permission from the representatives of WHO OWNS THIS SITE, not permitted, potentially at the expense of everyone else here.

There's an old saying! Be Careful What You Wish For.

Oh.....And since the theme of this thread is to exchange Seasons Greetings to each other.
    Merry Christmas

I agree, that the rules are to be followed, but the owners, and admin of the site ultimately set the rules, along with the authority to extend permission for a variety of circumstances.

Like anywhere else in life, there come times where what we need, sits just outside the boundaries of existing rules, but by respecting the rules, and seeking permission to step outside them for either a just cause, or experience, the expectation of respecting existing rules is maintained. That's exactly what I did. along with an explanation in the very first paragraph of my post, so that if others found themselves potentially breaching the rules, and questioning a post they wanted to make, that they would seek permission by forwarding it first to the admin for review to avoid potential repercussions, and wouldn't see my post as an excuse to post in violation of the rules.

If in the real world, you've never asked permission for something that might be questioned otherwise, have you really lived? You have lived, haven't you? LOL
