1. Hello,

New users on the forum won't be able to send PM untill certain criteria are met (you need to have at least 6 posts in any sub forum).

One more important message - Do not answer to people pretending to be from xnxx team or a member of the staff. If the email is not from forum@xnxx.com or the message on the forum is not from StanleyOG it's not an admin or member of the staff. Please be carefull who you give your information to.

  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

A word of advice, sticking sharp objects into a computer server will likely cause more harm than good.

Question for you @StanleyOG , who reviews the threads here, on a regular basis, and moves the threads to their proper forums. It appears that you and your staff are relying on the members to report, as opposed to monitoring the activity here. Is that the solution to having moderators?

So why don't they? We're the ones who have to put up with the postings and the spam. It was much better here when there were moderators located all around the globe.

as far as I was concerned those mods where fair and any complaints towards them seemed to me unfounded....

I like this joint because it has very little moderating compared to most forums. Moderators usually just mess up a place and eventually create a clique of friends. In time they end up running the place primarily for the benefit of that clique and to the exclusion of others.

I don't see a big problem with spammers around here. As long as they get run out after a bit it's fine. We don't need armed guards standing on every corner ready to open fire instantly on anyone who steps out of line.

There should only be enough moderation of this site to clean up the spam, etc. every once in a while. If there's too many moderators, with too much time on their hands, they will eventually turn into little tyrants who go looking for anyone that rubs them the wrong way.

And as any member does, you have a right to your opinion. But you haven't even been here a year, so you don't understand where we were, where the site went and where it is now. It was much better when mods were proactive about keeping the site clean, as opposed to relying on members to do their work for them.

I'm sure the good ole days were much better than today, they usually were I suppose. I just don't see what the problem is with how it is now. It seems fine. Spammers show up and then they go away. I'm not put out by them and it's just not a big deal to me if they aren't zapped right away.

I'd just hate to see this place get wrecked with over-moderation when over-moderation is the norm and should be easy to find if that's what makes a person feel safe and happy. I think relying on members to report stuff is the best way to do it. That way we get to determine what kind of rule-breakers bug us the most and we get to determine who has priority for being run out of town rather than leaving it entirely up to some wannabe tin-pot-dictator type of person.

I disagree..Some of the mods were out of control and some were delusional.
Ejls and ShakeZula were hopeless and in my opinion Bullies.
I had issues with them because I always thought that they applied the rules as they wanted.
They ganged up on me a few times, which was very funny at the time.
It's better now, I think anyway.

Well @Mr Smith 36 I did walk in the Mod shoes for 3 1/2 yrs and I totally agree with HBG.

There's now 2 staff and a paid Mod they should be able to cover the forums better than what they're doing now.

If I am not allowed to fire back at a poster then I will pick them apart in the report button.....

I miss you mods, @69magpie . You guys kept this place clean and one of you was always available if we needed help. And you all did that as volunteers, not paid mods. This place went downhill when nophest got rid of you. But I guess now we really get what we pay for.

That was most likely a nice break for most members. Others such as JPT, D.L. and Stumbler most likey were in a severe state of depression. I'm so glad the folks at XNXX managed to get the site back up, I was extremely concerned about our members that practically live here.

I believe we already tried that and it didn't work. It actually adds more workload - babysitting moderators, double checking after them, dealing with complains about moderators. That is why it was discontinued.
There is also no way moderators would be removing stuff instantaneously.
And if it is so much of a problem for you, that thread is moved from general to personal 5 minutes later than it would have been with moderators, you need better problems.

And yes, I copy that exactly how he said it. There is nothing else to be said, I know that you looking for another answer, but I won't give it to you... and no the last sentence is not an attack on poster, it's just straight answer and common sense.

+ moderators were always babyset, you just don't know about it. I really didn't came here with @CollectiveArbiter like 3months ago... we are here a looong time.

+ if something isn't done in 5minutes, it doesn't mean it won't be done, you have absolutely no idea how is this work done, like at all..
I'm kinda happy that you are here like all the time and care so much, but you need to understand that this "job" is a job. I'm not here 24/7 even though I'm trying to...

Since I came here as an Admin, you have been talking about this like non stop and I don't know if you are joking right now or not, but I heard you the first time, even the second time. Now it looks like you are on a loop and you can't stop.

And before I forget, I didn't aswer you because I thought that @CollectiveArbiter answer was enough and at the time I had a lot of work to do, which you know nothing about.

(Still not attacking the poster, you would notice if I did.)

    1. Moderators were not always babysat. And many of us know a lot about how the moderators worked because they were our friends, even after they were no longer mods. The moderators from a long time ago were not babysat and not until ILMJ took over as admin did that happen. Up until that point, they were trained and respected to do the job, without being paid. When they got rid of the volunteers, none of the paid mods worked out.

    2. Who assigned a 5 minute response time? It was not mentioned in my question at all. If you had read my question instead of quoting CA, you would have know that I asked if you were relying on reports from the members as opposed to have mods who were proactive, spotted offenses and took care of them.

    3. I have not talked about this non-stop, and I very rarely address you at all. I am normally saying good morning and then moving onto the other threads. I asked a question. I was not rude and then I was rudely spoken to by CA. When Randy Knight notes that it was rude, then it really was, because he's not known for being warm and fuzzy.

And 4, because there is always a #4, I asked you the question, not CA. Had I wanted an answer from CA, I would have asked CA. As CA pointed out, he apparently does not count as staff. I questioned the administrator because I wanted to know they truth, and yet my simply question was never answered.

Tell me, what was so rude or invasive about my question that you still didn't answer it?: Who reviews the threads here, on a regular basis, and moves the threads to their proper forums? It appears that you and your staff are relying on the members to report, as opposed to monitoring the activity here. Is that the solution to having moderators?

      1. ok, but I'm still wondering why are you angry about this now, when this happend a "years" ago and the decision wasn't mine but nophests...maybe you should redirect your anger somewhere else.
      2. ---
      3. You are talking about this constantly, when not publicly you do it in PM or reports.
      4. Now you got the answer

and 5, because there is always a #5, I'm starting to understand ILMJ and her perspective about you guys... I'm trying to be normal and civil with you, but I can see that viewing you as a numbers is better and not interacting with you might be the best solution.

And again, I belive, that the answer that you got was enough, and if you don't like that answer, I'm sorry, but that's the only one you gonna get.

      1. Not angry - correcting what was stated
      2. You did not answer the 5 minute remark so this number 2 is not addressed
      3. And whose PM's are you reading? As far as reporting, yes, I report things that should have been moved hours earlier.
      4. No, you still did not answer the question. Are you relying on the members to report instead of having moderators actively review the forums and remove spam?
      5. And 5, because you brought it up, ILMJ was a friend of mine even off this site, so not sure why you would say that about me

I asked one direct question and all I wanted was a direct answer. So no, you still have not answered a very direct question. Interesting. Are you also involved in politics?

      @StanleyOG
I didn't have any contact with ILMJ for the reason it always seemed that He/She communicated in a patronising way and was not someone I could get along with. It doesn't surprise me in the slightest that He/She would have no regard for us, therefore I would hope that you don't take any advice from Him/Her.

I am glad that you interact with the forum and would appreciate if you would continue.

You and CA seem to have some sense of humour and this is important because as we know the internet is serious business.

In no way am I trying to be disrespectful, BUT..............
In my humble opinion for what it's worth, on a Website with forums, Moderators are needed.
The reason they're needed you answered yourself in your post being "And before I forget, I didn't answer you because I thought that @CollectiveArbiter answer was enough and at the time I had a lot of work to do, which you know nothing about".

The thing is, many of us are aware of the work needed in administering to a Website.
Such as Website security, (i.e., malware distribution, spam, phishing, etc..), vulnerability in code, content, advertising, content legalities, data theft, IT management, web servers, web software, user accounts, passwords, and the list goes on, and on!

Your workload is immense, and I'm sorry that it's the position your caught in, but that's where Moderators come in. As long as Moderators have been given strict guidelines to follow, as well as limitations on the actions they can impose, your workload could be seriously reduced, and issues which are your main concern, will then have the time to be dealt with, and with a lot less stress for you.

The vast majority of members on any site won't report posts with content that could have legal implications for a Website. Moderators cruising forums, and content posted by other sites, and members which could have legal implications could be noted by your Moderators, and reported for review by Administration for potential removal, saving untold dollars in potential legal fees, fines, or possible imprisonment for potentially illegal content.

The use of Moderators of course is purely at the discretion of a sites Administration, but the advantages more often than not, would far out-way any discomfort in their use.

Part of any basic directive given to Moderators in identifying posts which breach a sites rules would be,
"if it walks and talks like a duck, it’s probably a duck". Deal with it. Then you wouldn't have to.

Just my opinion. I'm hoping it's something you'll continue discussing.
    .
Moderated Forums clean up! LOL :) Sorry, couldn't resist.
