Another happy Kamper .......
On a lark, we went to see The Jungle Book. It was really well done in visual and sound effects.
There were even a couple of *chuckles* involved.
I went out and saw X-Men: Apocalypse after class. It was amazing, and I'm eagerly waiting the next installment. Seriously, you like, have no idea. I saw the 3D XD edition and I have some sort of headache. My brain feels like it's going to explode. It feels like there's a lead pipe penetrating my skull. Ooh, maybe my mutant powers are activating. Is it the power of being weak to spectacular visual effects? I think it is! THIS MOVIE WAS FUCKING INCREDIBLE. YOU GUYS. GUYS. HEY. GUYS.
SEE THIS MOVIE!
Just... If you know you're negatively affected by 3d movies or something, see the regular version. Your mindbrain will thank you.
Now where's that ice cream scoop, it's time to get that meddlesome brain out of there. Maybe a chainsaw would work. Can't have a headache with no head...
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Look how sort of nice Rixer used to be, he was still a dopey idiot but at least civil. My times have changed. Maybe someone took away his dog chews.
He just got loose. Needs a tight chain.
When a successful New York advertising executive (Will Smith) suffers a great tragedy, he retreats from life. While his concerned friends try desperately to reconnect with him, he seeks answers from the universe by writing letters to Love, Time and Death. When his notes bring unexpected personal responses, he begins to understand how these constants interlock in a life fully lived and how even the deepest loss can reveal moments of meaning and beauty.
It was not as good as hoped but I was not thrilled or excited watching the preview to it so was not surprised it was not great, however I still ended up in tears and looking for kleenex.
Rogue One (a starwars story)...was a great movie. Lots of new characters, battle scenes and easter eggs. Love the final few scenes too.
I have never watched any of the Starwars films. That is cool that they are still going though as they have been around for a very long time.
Its cold now....time for a good book...a hot chocolate...and warm covers.
What are you reading?
A book called "Sandstorm" by author James Rollins. He's a new york times best seller. I have many of his books.
Enjoy your book, Merry Christmas to you and yours. XO

Today just started in Russia new movie Viking, highly recomend it
Rogue One was great.
Also just saw Passengers, not a Oscar winner for sure but was still enjoyable. JLaw looking great, and for the ladies a naked Chris Pratt.
vikings were invited to come and rule russia, long before that, movie is about land lord that Christened Mother Russia
I didn't see either of those, I can appreciate Passengers has some romance in it but there was not enough substance to catch my attention to see it. You're right though the actors/actresses are hot and that was all that appealed to me. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it.
