    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

      I'm not sure there's much geode collecting in your area. You might check with your local rock club. They have field trips for collecting different rocks and gems also. It's always fun and more special when it's a specimen that you've found. :)
      Then there's Gem and Mineral shows put on by clubs every year in most counties where you can purchase finished products or rough gemstones to work on. Plus it's amazing to just walk around and admire all of natures beauty in stones. :thumbsup:

      Apparently there’s an abandoned open mine a couple hours from here that might give up some tourmaline (excited wriggle; it’s my fave after amethyst) but I’ve never heard of anyone finding geodes here.

      I’ll do some more digging.
