Actually Clinton is right. And the absolute worst form of cynical politicking is Trump and the Republicans saying this is not the time to be discussing gun control when that is the same thing they say after every mass shooting because they know that in a few weeks or a month people will be forgetting about this massacre and they can go back to doing the NRA's bidding pushing through more pro-gun bills to help the gun industry keep their profits up.

With the exception of Trump of course who will say this is not the time to talk about gun control if a white guy does the killing. But if a Muslim that does the killing he tries to milk it for all its worth to push his own political agenda.

 

Funny thing is, people always jump up and down screaming after attacks like these. Yet, last year in Chicago, there were almost 15 times as many gun deaths. I don't recall any late night talk show hosts doing monologues on Chicago, a city run by Democrats for decades. Oh, I guess I found the reason why.

Decades of Sexual Harassment Accusations Against Harvey Weinstein

Two decades ago, the Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein invited Ashley Judd to the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel for what the young actress expected to be a business breakfast meeting. Instead, he had her sent up to his room, where he appeared in a bathrobe and asked if he could give her a massage or she could watch him shower, she recalled in an interview.

“How do I get out of the room as fast as possible without alienating Harvey Weinstein?” Ms. Judd said she remembers thinking.

In 2014, Mr. Weinstein invited Emily Nestor, who had worked just one day as a temporary employee, to the same hotel and made another offer: If she accepted his sexual advances, he would boost her career, according to accounts she provided to colleagues who sent them to Weinstein Company executives. The following year, once again at the Peninsula, a female assistant said Mr. Weinstein badgered her into giving him a massage while he was naked, leaving her “crying and very distraught,” wrote a colleague, Lauren O’Connor, in a searing memo asserting sexual harassment and other misconduct by their boss.

“There is a toxic environment for women at this company,” Ms. O’Connor said in the letter, addressed to several executives at the company run by Mr. Weinstein.

An investigation by The New York Times found previously undisclosed allegations against Mr. Weinstein stretching over nearly three decades, documented through interviews with current and former employees and film industry workers, as well as legal records, emails and internal documents from the businesses he has run, Miramax and the Weinstein Company.

In her book What Happened Clinton spends a lot of time on the Russian interference in our election and how that hurt her campaign. And in subsequent interviews she has been pointing out how many things about that interference have now been proven. And in fact more things are being proven every day.

A sure sign of denial is when someone can find all sorts of excuses to explain their failure, none of which include self criticism.

Any Navy Seal would be glad to assist Mrs. Clinton with reconciling her failure.

And it's a pretty good bet blaming the Russians/Sanders/DNC/Trump won't make the final list.

 

Any people wondered why Hillary was always staggering and falling.

 

Weinstein's hold on the Democratic Party is so strong that former first daughter Malia Obama even interned for him. He has thrown numerous fund-raisers for Democratic candidates at lavish homes on both coasts.

Bill O'Reilly knocks Clinton off top of NYT best sellers list

Bill O'Reilly on Thursday touted the success of his new book "Killing England," which has knocked former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's book from the top of the New York Times's best-sellers list.

The book's success comes after O'Reilly was ousted from Fox News in April amid sexual harassment allegations.

"Killing England," the latest in a series of books from O'Reilly, tells the story of America's victory in the Revolutionary War. It sold 71,000 copies in its second week, compared to 65,000 during the first week after the book launched, according to The Associated Press.

The book has made it to the No. 1 spot on the New York Times's best-sellers list, with Clinton's "What Happened," her account of the 2016 presidential race, falling to No. 2.

O'Reilly celebrated the news with his 2.27 million followers on Twitter.
