    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    I gained 40 lbs this year. On Friday, I did the old 12 mile walking route that I used to 40 lbs ago daily (sometimes 2x). I saw a lot of the pretty Christmas lights; that was neat.

    But I've been physically sore as heck all weekend from that walk. But also, I got emotionally sore. I walked by a bar and some drunks hooted at me, and it made me realize just this morning that I've been isolated in my apartment (getting fat for one thing) all year long and I haven't hung with anyone. I haven't hung around or socialized for years.

    I realize this must be some missing need as I'm driven to post on this forum non-stop with this account that's been inactive for a long time, but this is not real.

    I need to walk more.

    It's my fitness goal for 2015, to get in shape and look 19 again. If Frodo can play in LOTR at 19 and then go back in the Hobbit at play 19 again at 30, then by crackers I've gotta try too.

    I haven't been to the gym for a month. I was on holidays then excessively busy. I had made a New Years resolution to never miss a day and haven't been. It became all or nothing. It's so easy to eat past your requirements, now I've put on 2kg. I don't feel good at all, headaches, lethargic, bloated, I'm sure I have a sugar issue.

    There's that other thread about weight and losing it. It's a difficult thing to do. You have to be like a machine, don't think, just do. Do and do again. Never give in. I gave in for a month and now I'm regretting it. To say to people oh it's easy just stop eating is like saying just stop breathing. Your body operates on autopilot, to get out of the gorging cycle is a hard thing to do.

    That's me and my current cross...

    well going every day is unrealistic and not good for you. Even I had to see that at some point. You will overtrain and won´t make any progress. You gotta set yourself a doable goal

    As for dieting, man, it´s the hardest thing in the world!

    I get out of the recliner and walk to the fridge several times a day. Does that count?

    Actually, the wife and I joined a gym and we've been going for about 45 minutes each weekday. We just wanted some regular cardio as we don't work any more.
