So seeing as the internet makes it a lot more "convenient" to see porn, let me ask. Do you guys still look at porn the "old fashioned" way, as a friend of mine would put it? I mean like seeing it on DVD or looking at a magazine

I have a few magazines and a couple DVDs stashed for when I'm in the mood and don't feel like using my phone.

I haven't looked at a porn dvd or magazines in quite awhile I have a few DVDs but they gather dust

 

I wasn't aware that magazines were still being produced, other than Playboy. Convience Stores used to have a whole rack of them but I haven't seen that in awhile.
Same for DVDs, I guess that you can buy them online but I haven't in years.

 

My local sex shop still have tons of magazines and DVDs, but I never bought one. I've seen a few magazines, but never owned one. Rented a VHS tape once just for the experience, but never saw a porn DVD. And now I'm mainly into genuine homemade amateur stuff, which doesn't come in either format.

 

I have many DVDs we hardly watch that I will be giving away, I however do visit our local adult shop about one every 6 months when I purge and splurge on new magazines for bathroom reading. I'm due it's been closer to a year since I last went and my mags are getting boring.

 

I used to have a stash of old Playboys one of my friend's fathers gave to me and my other buddies. I stopped looking at those once I couldn't open them anymore. I also used to occasionally splurge on a few crappy dvd pornos and a bunch of Hustlers and Juggs magazines. Those days are long since past, as I haven't felt it necessary to spend money on those things. Free Internet porn is the way to go. But I do look back fondly on the old ways.

 

We still have 8mm's and even quarter booth peep loops we run. Granted, most of the 8mm's have been transferred to a digital format to preserve them, yet a couple of the quarter booths still use the old loops and projectors.

Last night I was browsing Kodi and found a 2-hour transfer of '70s porn movie trailers.
Bad sound, bad acting, blur, jitter, scratches on the film. No I don't miss that.

I DO miss the big porn theaters that VHS eliminated. It was fun joining the "raincoat crowd" and trying not to get caught touching myself. Little did I know back in the day that the object was TO GET "CAUGHT".

 

The only thing that I like about DVDs is that they don't crash or infect my player with viruses and shit. And the thing that I like about Internet porn is not having to worry about my wife finding a DVD in my dresser titled my friend has 10, pumping men at the gym or Barbie has more than Ken, stuff like that.

 

I certainly have enjoyed all the various media for porn over the years. I am excited to try virtual reality porn. I think that will be very neat.

 

It's been a long time since I watched a DVD porn. Mostly because they are not as readily available as the net. I wonder what the next technology will do for porn?

 

I once read that when mass-produced music recordings were starting to take off, the march composer John Phillip Sousa dreamed instead of a world populated by amateur musicians entertaining each other. Regardless of technology, I suppose that's my dream for the future of porn.

 

I like reading porn magazines, used to buy quite a few, still have a fair collection, every now and then I throw some away, but then I find it hard to part with them so end up putting them back in the cupboard. Ha ha

 

All that old stuff is gone, trash-canned some time after finding better porn here and elsewhere. It is true that I spend more time looking at porn now then I ever had the old-fashioned way.

 

I certainly don't have to buy any dvd's, I have downloaded so many films it's crazy especially when you consider that sex shops charge £30.00 a film it's mental. Porn is like drugs highly addictive, probably why I watch so much of it, I'm always on speed!
