Wink wink at his supporters because a Trump supporter in New Zealand showed them the way.

Now notice Trump still can't bring himself to denounce white nationalist terrorism or offer support for Muslims. All he can do is keep playing the poor little snowflake victim.

Do you mean that the check from Mexico has cleared the bank? When I listened to National Public Radio news this morning there was no mention of that or the check arriving. Of course NPR has a liberal bias. They would probably not report something like this.

US job openings rise, outnumber the unemployed by 1 million

    3/17/19

U.S. employers posted nearly 7.6 million open jobs in January, near a record high set in November, evidence that businesses are still hungry for workers.

The Labor Department said Friday that hiring also rose and the number of people quitting their jobs picked up. Quits are a sign of a healthy economy, because people typically leave a job for another, usually higher-paying, one.

The tally of available jobs now outnumbers the unemployed by roughly 1 million. Openings began to outpace the unemployed last spring, for the first time in the 18 years the data has been tracked.

“The question now is, will workers be increasingly tempted to switch to new jobs or will their current employers raise wages to keep them?” said Nick Bunker, an economist at job listings website Indeed.

The strong job market is already pushing up wages more quickly, with hourly wages rising in February at the fastest pace in nine years.

Hey can any of you pros or "conservatives" or Trump supporters explain why we have nearly 8 million unfilled jobs? If Trump could start filling them I would be really impressed. Because I think it was about 6 million when he got elected.

But in the meantime do you know who is way better at staying out of jail than politicians, lobbyists, and even lawyers? Bankers.

Because bankers really start to squeal at the first sign of trouble.

Why are those 6 Million or 8 million jobs going unfilled?

They aren't. They're being filled as fast as employers can find qualified applicants.

Lets say an employer creates a new job and posts it. An employee at another company sees the post, and is eventually hired. Now, the second employer has an opening to fill. So, they now post it, and an employee at a third company eventually fills it.

    And so on.

The thing is, employees don't much switch jobs unless they get more money, or better benefits or a promotion. So almost every one of those job openings represents an increase in wages, plus the new jobs that increase overall wages.

In addition to some really innovative signing bonuses, employers are starting a lot earlier on college campuses with their recruiting.

And know what employers say is the biggest inhibition to filling those jobs?

Finding candidates who can pass a drug test.
    Really. No joke.

Oh fuck that is so hilarious to see a plastic bubble dweller brainwashed parrot claim the 8 million unfilled jobs are actually filled. Even when that is 2 million more unfilled jobs than just a couple years ago.

When the actual reason is just so simple. Those jobs are unfilled because there are not enough training programs to teach Americans the needed skills. But not with Trump because it was something President Obama was trying to address.

And besides Trump is too busy attacking John McCain while his supporters help him take a shit on McCain's old bones.

Non fucking fake Patriots that they are.

    The fraud exposes his ignorance.
    Or his trolling skills.

Shooter never said those 8 Million jobs are filled. He said employers are filling them as fast as qualified applicants can be found. And then he explained how that works. You know, cause apparently the fraud thinks that we're talking the same job openings, that they never change.
The fraud is either an idiot or a troll.
    Or both.

Not enough training jobs isn't the issue according to employers. It's finding applicants that can pass a drug test.

Now let's note two things. Who is the true fraud. And why its just a total waste of time to actually try and discuss and/or debate anything with Trump supporters like shootersa.

Because the statement according to employers is just an absolute lie. Just like the true fraud he is shootersa linked a five year old article that is quoting the losing governor of Pennsylvania when he was down in the polls. He is the one saying drug testing is why jobs are going unfilled.

When actually this is what the "employers" were saying.

    https://www.governing.com/news/stat...ilable-but-workers-cannot-pass-drug-test.html

There is just no sense at all even fucking with such fraudulent dishonesty.

The fraud just does not like to be challenged. It brings out his cranky.

Shooter has been saying for over a year that employers consistently say the biggest single problem filling jobs is finding candidates who can pass a drug test.

    It hasn't been refuted.

Anymore than the frauds attempt to confuse the issue of more jobs than applicants.

You see, it points to a red hot economy and that REALLY upsets the fraud.

    Cause ........... Trump

Actually I don't have much use or respect for Maggie Haberman because she softballs any interviews she has had with Trump and never challenges him. And Haberman also almost always pulls her punches reporting on the White House because she wants to stay on Trump's good side. But that being said she is well connected and gets a lot of people inside the White House to at least feed her what they want out. So this is significant coming from her.

Home sales surge on higher wages, lower rates

WASHINGTON — U.S. home sales soared 11.8 percent in February, aided by accelerating wages and falling mortgage rates that are improving affordability.

The National Association of Realtors said Friday that existing homes sold at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.51 million last month, a decisively sharp rebound from a pace of 4.94 million in January.

The burst in sales points to the housing market regaining the momentum that it lost in the middle of 2018, after a spike in rates for home loans caused sales to slow. The February sales figures point toward growth in sales of homes priced between $250,000 and $500,000, a range that is generally affordable to middle-class families. “This was fueled principally by an improvement in affordability resulting from a combination of slower house price gains, lower mortgage rates and more rapid wage growth,” said David Berson, chief economist at Nationwide Mutual Insurance.

Still, existing-home sales are down 1.8 percent from a year ago because of the severity of last year’s slowdown. But 30-year mortgage rates have since tumbled after peaking in early November at roughly 5 percent, helping sales to recover as that average has fallen to 4.28 percent this week, according to mortgage buyer Freddie Mac.

Mortgage rates will likely fall further. The Federal Reserve indicated this week that it foresees no further interest rate increases this year — a message that has sent the yield on the 10-year Treasury note plunging. Rates on long-term mortgages closely track the 10-year yield.

The median sales price in January was $247,500, a slight increase of 3.6 percent from last year. Home price growth has been converging with average hourly wage gains in recent months.
