And that stupid assed lie that Clinton supporters were "crowing" about the polls just before the election has been proven a lie probably a dozen times since the election. Because right after Comey announced they were re-opening the investigation into her emails Clinton's advantage over Trump fell to within the margin of error.

With the added factor no pollster could calculate the amount of influence Russia had with their interference.

Kelsey Grammer defends voting for Trump: 'I think the fabric being disrupted is a good thing'

Actor Kelsey Grammer on Tuesday defended casting a vote for President Trump in 2016, saying the “clowns” in Washington before him hadn’t done the country “any favors” and that the political climate isn’t as “horrible” as some people are making it out to be.

Mr. Grammer made the comments during an appearance on PBS’s “Amanpour & Company” while promoting the musical “Man Of La Mancha.” Host Christiane Amanpour turned the discussion to politics by labeling the former “Frasier” and “Cheers” star “one of those rare Hollywood beasts who is conservative” and who voted for Mr. Trump.

“I just wonder whether you sort of took any hits in Hollywood for that? Did you feel that you were sort of marginalized?” Ms. Amanpour asked.

“I’m unaware of taking a hit for it,” the actor responded, according to a clip flagged by NewsBusters. “Passions run high, and certainly he has touched on an extraordinarily passionate response. I don’t know if it’s as serious or horrible as everybody wants it to be.”

Ms. Amanpour asked Mr. Grammer whether he agreed with many Americans who believe “the sort of fabric is being disrupted.”

“Well, I think the fabric being disrupted is a good thing,” the actor responded. “I do not think Washingtonwas doing us any favors for the last 50, 60 years. I think they’ve all been sort of the same party, the same bunch of clowns, the same bunch of really unpleasant people. And I don’t think they’ve been helping anybody but themselves.”

Mr. Grammer added that the American people will be “just fine” during Mr. Trump’s presidency and for a long time to come.

“We’ve been through a lot worse,” he said.

Rasmussen has the well-deserved reputation as the most accurate pollster, based on being the closest of all major polling organization in predicting the results of the 2016 presidential election.

Trump signs major public lands, conservation bill into law

President Donald Trump signed a wide-ranging public lands bill Tuesday that creates five new national monuments and expands several national parks.

The new law also adds 1.3 million acres of new wilderness and permanently reauthorizes the Land and Water Conservation Fund, which supports conservation and outdoor recreation projects nationwide.

It's the largest public lands bill Congress has considered in a decade, and it won large bipartisan majorities in the House and Senate.

More than 100 land and water conservation bills were combined to designate more than 350 miles of river as wild and scenic, and to create nearly 700,000 acres of new recreation and conservation areas.

The new law also withdraws 370,000 acres in Montana and Washington state from mineral development.

Trump signed the bill in the Oval Office during a private ceremony with acting Interior Secretary David Bernhardt and a bipartisan group of lawmakers, the White House said.

Bernhardt, who is awaiting Senate confirmation to become the department's permanent leader, issued a written statement calling the law "extremely beneficial" to the American public.

He installed a former coal lobbyist to lead the Environmental Protection Agency, while Bernhardt is a former energy industry lobbyist. Meanwhile, the budget proposal Trump released Monday would cut the Interior Department's permanent and discretionary funding for the conservation fund by three-fourths.

 

Trump to announce new refugee admissions cap, stronger vetting rules as ban expires

The administration’s 120-day suspension of admissions for most refugees lapses on Tuesday. Coinciding with the deadline, Trump is expected to sign a document starting the process of allowing refugees back into the U.S. – under new guidelines.

Under the new rules, the U.S. would cap refugee admissions at 45,000. That’s down from 110,000 under the last year of the Obama administration.

The administration also will seek to “enhance procedures for refugee entries” by “raising standards” for vetting.

The federal government would apply those standards “across the board” – under current policy, men are vetted more stringently than women and children.

The refugee ban is tied to the so-called travel ban, which has gone through several revisions and been challenged in court every step of the way. The administration’s third version of its controversial visa-entry restrictions for travelers from targeted countries was immediately challenged in court. Any new refugee restrictions are likely to face a similar fight.

But while the courts have delivered a series of setbacks to the administration’s efforts to block travelers from certain – most of them Muslim-majority – countries, the Supreme Court gave the administration a temporary victory on the refugee policy last month, allowing the ban to stay in place until the October expiration.

 

DACA Renewals Drop 21 Percent

Officials expected 154,000 applications for the two-year renewals. But only 122,000 applications had been received by the deadline. The final numbers won’t be available until late next week at the earliest, according to USCIS.

Under former President Barack Obama’s 2012 DACA amnesty, almost 800,000 illegal aliens applied and were allowed to remain in the United States. They were also given two-year work permits. However, many have dropped out of the amnesty program, leaving roughly 690,000 were enrolled

USCIS did not explain the 21 percent drop, but federal officials promised to implement a more rigorous security check than allowed by Obama’s deputies.

A former manager of the agency’s investigative unit, Matt O’Brien, said that the fraud rate for DACA could be “40 to 50 percent.”

“Based on what I had seen and what I discussed with my colleagues, the fraud rate is 40 to 50 percent,” O’Brien said in an interview with LifeZette.

The declining number of DACA applications will impact the Democratic Party’s effort to push their huge Dream Act amnesty to President Donald Trump’s desk before March 5, when the first DACA permits expire. The Dream Act could provide an amnesty to 3.3 million people, far more than the 800,000 who enrolled in the DACA amnesty.


Meanwhile, CNN has reported that Democrats “are raising alarms” that so few of the eligible DACA illegal aliens are reapplying for the program.

Seems the illegals are not reapplying because they are of the opinion that it's just not worth the effort for them...or rather those illegals have previously been shown the exit sign.
