He may not be the most honest POTUS we have ever had but he is a hell of a lot more honest then the last one was and is at least trying to keep his promises if people would at least give him 1/2 a chance something good might come out of it

Would that be his promise that no one would lose their insurance (except that about 24 million will according to the CBO) or that it would cost less (unless you're over 55 in which case it will cost up to three times as much per the same report) or that Mexico would pay for the wall (if you don't count the 2.4 billion in startup cash he wrote into the budget and the projected 20 billion he wants to complete it) or the people's lives he'd make better (unless you count on Meals on Wheels or Head Start for at least one decent meal a day) or his promise to "drain the swamp" (except for all of the billionaire buddies of his from Wall Street, Exxon, Hewlet Packard, etc. that he's been re-stocking Washington with) or....

.... And half of the 24 Million don't want insurance in the first place. The cost of insurance for those over 55 would be what under Obamacare? Who pays the difference? Mexico will pay for whatever wall Trump wants them to, despite your half truths and ignorance. And need I remind you, that Meals on Wheels is 97% funded by private and corporate donations? No one will loose their meals. Head start is a fucking joke and has been; an expensive baby sitting program and nothing else. And he is indeed draining the swamp of robbers.
      Huh.
Is that what you are really upset about? The robbers being driven out of Washington?
      Cause your lies don't fly.

The 24 million due to lose insurance are those currently covered under the Medicare Expansion. Not some 27 year old athlete who's self enployed. Under Obamacare people over 55 currently get a 12k per year subsidy for health care insurance. Trumpcare cuts that to 4k. One third as much. Meals on Wheels depends as much on government support as it does private donations. Without it many seniors will go hungry and the daily visits it provides are often the only people it's clients regularly see. And while there may be no evidence that a 'Con can see that shows kids who get a decent meal perform better in school than kids who are hungry, common sense and Christian charity both say that the kids should still be fed. As to the Trumpian sell-out to Wall street, it's clearly ehat he had planned all along. In short, you've been sold.

      Bullshit. Utter bullshit.
Meals on Wheels is 97% funded by private and corporate donations. Less than 3% comes from Government funding and that has already been made up by increased donations from corporations and individuals. You can google it. I would post the link, but there are children ......... But if you look, you will see that executives at Meals on Wheels are the ones saying this. Not people "conned".
No senior will go hungry because of the cuts.
Prove that statement wrong, and we can talk. Show where Meals on Wheels will cut a single meal and we'll talk.
Head Start is nothing more than an expensive baby sitting service funded by Government. Kids need to be fed? Fine. Do we do that with an expensive baby sitting service?
Did you know that while Head Start staff are considered "educators" they can collect unemployment when all other "educators" can't? Do you have any clue what that alone costs in taxpayer dollars?

Once again the best the PR hacks, their many socks and Trump supporters can do is still set their hair on fire and run around hysterically screaming BUT CLINTON BUT OBAMA BUT CLINTON BUT OBAMA or make false accusations about imaginary things they wish would happen.

When the only thing that really matters is how Trump's first 100 days are going and all we have to is look at a 37% approval rating to know so far they are a total wreck.

First, let's just imagine for a minute what the paid PR hacks, their many socks and the Trump supporters would be doing if Clinton had won and Hillary gave her son-in-law an advisory position and Chelsea her own office in the West Wing and a scrutiny clearance. They would be shitting down both legs screaming nepotism.

But in this case I think its pretty clear why they are moving Ivanka closer to her father. Its because Trump's mental illness is getting more acute. And they need Ivanka there to try and calm him down and help try and keep his mental state hidden from the public.

Frankly freakin' Franken, compared to Scalia, whet you know about the US Constitution couldn't fill a drop of your frothing drool.

Franken Takes Shot at the Late Antonin Scalia’s Understanding of the Constitution

    3/20/17

Sen. Al Franken (D., Minn.) questioned the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's understanding of the Constitution on Monday during the confirmation hearing for President Trump's nominee to the high court, Judge Neil Gorsuch.

Franken began his line of questioning to Gorsuch by discussing Trump's "litmus test" for his Supreme Court nominee.

"In fact, he openly discussed his litmus test. He said that he would ‘appoint judges very much in the mold of Scalia' during the final presidential debate," Franken said. "Then-candidate Trump said, ‘The justices I'm going to appoint will be pro-life. They will have a conservative bent.'"

Franken then praised Scalia before taking a shot at his knowledge of the Constitution.

"Justice Scalia was a man of great conviction and, it should be said, a man of great humor," Franken said. "But Justice Scalia embraced a rigid view of our Constitution, a view blind to the equal dignity of LGBT people, and hostile to women's reproductive rights, and a view that often refused to acknowledge the lingering laws and policies that perpetuate the racial divide."

Franken acknowledged that nobody can dispute the late Scalia's love for the Constitution, but he went on to say "the document he revered looks very different from the one I have sworn to defend."

"It troubles me that at this critical juncture in our nation's history, at this moment when our country is so fixated on things that divide us from one another, that President Trump would pledge to appoint jurists whose views of our founding document seek to reinforce those divisions rather than bridge them," Franken added.

Scalia, who unexpectedly passed away last February, served on the Supreme Court for three decades. Prior to serving on the nation's highest court, Scalia was appointed Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

He was chairman of the American Bar Association's Section of Administrative Law from 1981 to 1982 and served as a senior figure in the Justice Department in the 1970s. The late Supreme Court justice previously was a professor at multiple top law schools and received his law degree from Harvard University.

Franken did not attend law school or practice law before entering the Senate in 2009.

Neither did former Senator Bill Frist. He was a doctor.

This is perhaps a perfect example of how to spin "facts".
No one disputes that Scalia was a strong constitutionalist; he believed the Constitution meant what it said and it was the courts job to enforce it, not give it new meaning based on the winds of public sentiment.
So along comes Franken, and he twists it around because we all know LGBT dignity is more important than the constitution, and the court has never advanced the right of women to their reproductive decisions without interference and GODDAMIT! the Constitution discriminates against blacks.
None of which is true, but never let truth stop a determined liberal.

So the Republicans just released changes to Trumpcare. I have mentioned changes in previous posts, but this cracks me up. It involves additional funding for tax credits to purchase insurance (entitlements).

    Tax credits pushed to Senate

House lawmakers punted one important provision to the Senate: Providing more assistance to older consumers, many of whom would face huge premium hikes under the GOP bill. The House is setting aside $75 billion to provide additional tax credits to help people buy policies on the individual market, but they are letting the Senate handle the crafting of the legislation.

    http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/20/politics/republican-health-care-bill-amendments/

You can read the rest in the attached link. This is hilarious and one of the most hypocritcal things Republicans can do. For Congress to pass the above to the Senate to avoid the CBO is a joke too.

See there? Liberals want entitlements. They like entitlements. They fucking love entitlements.
But if the "Republicans" create or maintain an entitlement they're hypocrites, liars, whatever other term you can dredge up out of your pinheads.
      Hypocrites indeed.

Want to know why Trump keeps tweeting outrageous crap?
Cause he knows unsupporters will flock around and glare and froth and spin while his administration gets on with business.

Speaking of showing the dick, Nikki Haley has shown the world that she has 10 pounds of cock and a bushel of balls.

Fiscal cuts, resignations and titling the UN what it is....Ideological agenda pushing liberals.

The U.N. has been Israel-bashing for decades and what we are trying to do is make sure they understand that there's a new administration in town and we're not going to put up with it.

The council was set up in 2006 as a successor to the Human Rights Commission -- which was also criticized for its anti-Israel stance. The Bush administration refused to join the new body, but the Obama administration applied for membership, arguing it could better influence the council from the inside.

Mattis withdraws Pentagon pick seen as Muslim Brotherhood supporter

Mattis has withdrawn his nominee for the Pentagon's top civilian job after opposition from lawmakers concerned about her close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. A senior official confirmed to Fox News that Mattis pulled the nomination of former Ambassador Anne Patterson to be undersecretary of defense for policy.

Patterson was U.S. ambassador to Egypt between 2011 and 2013, when that country's president, Mohamed Morsi, was overthrown by the military. Critics opposed her selection by Mattis on the grounds that she was too accommodating to Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood during her tenure in Cairo.

Cruz has recently reintroduced legislation calling on the State Department to designate the Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Muslim Brotherhood has a new campaign – a $5 million campaign – and it involves convincing Congress, via a concerted and costly public relations drive, to keep the group off the Foreign Terrorist Organization list.

Currently, Congress is mulling passage of the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act, H.R. 377, requiring “the secretary of State to submit a report to Congress on the designation of the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization, and for other purposes,” the text states.

It was introduced on January 9 in the House by Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Florida, as well as in the Senate, by Sen. Ted Cruz, and cosponsored on both sides by several other Republican members of Congress.
    ===============================================================

Egypt’s government has also reportedly warned of a concerted Muslim Brotherhood lobby power in the United States, masking as civil society groups.

    Again, from the Clarion Project:

“An Egyptian government website cited a study done by a think-tank in Cairo that concluded that the Brotherhood is trying to influence U.S. policy using affiliates in America that “aim to spread the Muslim Brotherhood’s extremist ideologies in the U.S.,” in the words of the website.”
