Still don't know WTF you're talking about. If you're talking spirit or foundational lies, then I put up a thread, laid out my position, and invited people to change my mind or at least show me where I was wrong. I can hypothesize, of course. I can base my understanding on my experiences and observations. Anyone can. But this thread is supposed to be about why non-Americans specifically do something. The thread I put up about spirit is based on divisiveness as a whole. I see those people here, too, on a smaller (but no less alarming) scale. That conversation is the most important to me, simply because I want to know how to understand it so I can combat it when and where I encounter it.

I'm perfectly open to someone refuting an idea I have. You resort to character assassination, you lose.

 

Thank you I did not exclude non Americans I just asked them a pointed question about the equality.of criticism. But saying that I did is a way of altering the debate and to avoid the question.

Can you name one other country that has military bases in other countries? We set ourselves up as the world police, all while actively working to subvert other countries sovereignty.

 

I don’t know how to make it any more clear that I do not invalidate any opinion that is non American. I don’t have any idea how my words could even be skewed into that unless it was purposeful. My question remains why do so many but not all non Americans have so many problems with internal American domestic policy? It doesn’t affect your country in the least. So I simply assume that those who do criticize the US are doing it out of moral outrage but if that’s the case then why discount or ignore the outrages of other countries who are much worse?

It would seem to many Americans to be spiteful and even hypocritical.

Post what you wish. I can not and would not dilute your freedom of speech. But I will always point out inconsistencies in ethical thinking.

 

Yeah... Germany has a training base here, and Holloman isactually a U.S. installation, not built by the Germans. It isn't anything like ours in more than 60 countries.

 

I might point out that just because there are a disproportionate number of people of color in the US penal system it is not a priori proof of a human rights violation. They did the crime and they knew they were committing a crime when they did it and chose to do it anyway.

The problem isn't that they were convicted, but that the crimes they had committed were also being done by whites and they never even got charged in some cases. You know about the case of rape in California where the kid was given 3 days (or was it months) for raping a drunken and passed out girl in an alley. Whites are disproportionately given lighter sentence that people of color. How many of these blacks got convicted of marijuana possession, where a white person would only be given a slap on the wrist.

 

Somehow you’ve managed to make this thread about you personally. You are one of many non Americans. Not everything is about you as much as you would like them to be. I couldn’t care less if you post or not. But this site has clearly become your identity and if you need to be king of the porn site then by all means have at it. I simply will not encourage you. If you need the last word then have it. I strive for things I consider loftier. Friends and family and a non virtual community come most immediately to mind. But I will continue to speak my truth in here whether you like it or not.
