I've been thinking about getting rid of my pubes, but not sure whether to wax or shave. The thought of shaving my balls is scary because I don't want to cut my balls, but waxing sounds like it'll hurt.

Shaving with a razor is perfectly safe, I've been doing it for years and am yet to cut myself.

Just remember to be careful, make sure you use shaving cream, dont go over the same place too much to avoid razor burn, and trim the long stuff before you start shaving so it doesnt clog the blades.

You know, waxing has it's advantages. Once you get the first time done and if you keep up, it isn't so bad and the results without stubble are much more comfortable in warm weather.

But, I have slumped to the shave routine, for years now. Heck just do it in the shower, no big deal, no shaving cream, maybe some soap. No biggie if enough water is present. Shaving face is more painful to me.

I am the one in our family that takes care of the task of shaving my hubby's johnson.
I start by soaping and soaking his pubes in the shower before even starting. Next I coat his cock and balls with Johnsons Baby Shampoo because it has just a bit of baby oil in it and will keep the razor burn to zero.
Once you have finished shaving and drying off I give hubby's package a very light coat of Baby oil, This helps to keep the pubes soft which prevents any itching (besides I love the feel of the soft skin after I oil him up).
If you get into the routine of applying baby oil every morning after your shower you should be able to go about a week between shaving.

Wax

I used to shave but after a day of two it's stubbly and not smooth anymore but you can't shave again for a week or so as the stubbles too short and causes irritation. Never had a prob with cuts shaving, I do it in the shower after I've cleaned, best to trim first but not too short or it will cause ingrown hairs.

Got waxed for the first time last month. Was smooth for a fortnight and now its growing back so am going to book in for another session. Supposedly shaving makes the hair grow back thicker and I always had ingrown hairs because of it. Waxing makes the hairs grow back thinner with less irritation and the hairs over time get less and less as it pulls them out by the roots.

It did hurt but I was congratulated on not making a sound - the waxer was the one gasping and yelping! Worth it though and not very expensive and results are much better. Did get some ingrown hairs but they give you a balm that gets rid of them.

Shave if you're just interested in it but wax if you like it smooth and want a longer lasting finish!
