    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    I will agree with most of that but #1 is bullshit.
    I didn't enlist because I had a love for my country and a willingness to sacrifice.
    During my time in the military I met people who had enlisted for many reasons.
    Some were poor, stupid, and lacked opportunities. They saw the military as a way to remove themselves from where they were headed.
    I even knew one man who enlisted just to have a steady food supply. He gained so much weight during boot camp that they had to put him on a diet.

    People join the military for many reasons.
    No one person can speak for as large a group as our military.

    I once knew a great man who is now dead who served with honor and valor as a paratrooper during WW2.

    He did it to get out of a 20 year prison sentence that he had just started serving for bank robbery. ;)

    Uncle Sam said to him, "Be a paratrooper...and you'll get out of prison and receive a full pardon."

    He replied, "Hell yeah! :D"

    I knew several people who went into the military to avoid jail time.
    One did his time in the military and became a judge.
    Just about the most crooked judge I have ever known.
    Everyone I knew would get their case switched over to him.
    A little cash and you are out of the door.

    Anyone that claims to speak for all veterans speaks for no one but himself.

    I also think it is strange how he minimizes the service of other veterans! Very much how veterans were treated upon their return from Vietnam. He is no different than those that did not serve but criticize those that did.
