this isnt a dream, although i have had several dreams in which i knew it was a dream and was like wtf... how is this happening, now for the ghost story

I have always had a hard time believeing in ghosts and stuff, but one of my freinds houses is haunted or somthing i swear... this might be coincidence but whenever we leave his room (not often) we hear shit coming from it.. and if we leave the tv off then it will be on when we come back even though no one is there to turn it on except me and him and someone else and we have been in each others sight the whole time.
But when we hear stuff from his room, it doesnt match whats on the tv...

 

I once worked for Born again Christians in a hairdressing salon.



Ok.. and as spooky as that was for a creepy bastard like me.. there was more to the story..

They were lovely folk whom played Christian rock and spiritual music all day while we worked.

Anyway, the poor folk went broke from being to honest in my opinion, however, as they were closing up, I mentioned I'd miss working with them. My boss was the wife of the minister of a local church of Pentecost, anyway, she told me he wanted me to take any of the tapes of Christian music with me as I wished, as a parting gift, and she added that "they would help scare off any evil spirits in my house".

Well. I didn't think I had any evil spirits to worry about, and there was only one tape they had, that I had even really thought I could listen to. So, I took that tape and said my farewells.

Anyway, days later I was home in my reasonably modern home which I had lived in for some 15 years. I had a three in one player stereo unit, vinyl record, radio and tape as this was a pre CD era.

Anyway, I decided to play this Christian tape while I did some work around the house.

Well. About a minute after this music started to play. Something extremely coincidental happened.

For the whole 15 years I had lived in this house, there had hung upon the wall, a painting with a very heavy frame, and after all these years, it suddenly broke free of the wall, and crashed down with such force upon my stereo unit, that the player was immediately mashed beyond repair. It literally looked like someone had taken to it with a hammer, and it never played a note of any kind again. I also felt a very strange chill in the air as this happened.

After this I did see what I assume was an hallucination that faded, of a girl that looked like Shirley Temple when I woke one morning. But well. I'm a skeptic still. But it did creep me out.

When I was a business manager for a Bank, i visited one of my pub customers (over lunch for some reason!) - his business was booming after having found a ghost in the cellar - funnily enough his last few pubs had also encountered these ghosts and had all done as well. He admitted it was completely made up to generate business - even had people visiting the pub and staying in the accomodation saying they could feel the spirit, and a couple of people saw a ghost.

Load of old bollocks!

CNN is running a video today that appears to capture the image of a woman that is allegedly haunting a North Carolina Courthouse.

 

my dad told me a story about seing a ghost.... he said it looked like 3-d shadow and he would be sitting on the couch and it would just stand there in the hallway and watch him. never really did anything elese but watch people


what my aunt came to visit she said she though she saw it stareing at her in her room.

probably just watching over us though.

 

I've never experienced anything supernatural but for a long time I was dating a girl who was very much into this type of thing and believed whole-heartedly in it, claiming to be in contact with a number of ghosts who were "in-residence" at her home.

She always talked about them as though they were real people. I had no reason to believe she was crazy otherwise so I always just sort of believed her. The closest brush I ever had with the supernatural was one night, I fell asleep with the vague sense that someone was in the room with me. That night I had an awful dream about this big fat red-headed bald guy chasing me down and trying to rape me. A day or two later I told this girlfriend about the dream, and she told me her brother had dreamt of the same guy some months ago. She described that type of supernatural presence as a 'dreamwalker.'

Not much, really, but it was strange nonetheless.
