Stumbler is a political junkie on the far side of one aisle. The GD forum has political junkies far on the other side. The GD forum has been a war ground from both sides for years, and this man has been a champion in those wars with the scalps and battlescars to prove it. All of us over there have pretended to love and hate our political opponents, but this beautiful thread proves that deep underneath all the B.S., the disputants over there are PEOPLE. Despite all the proverbial bloodshed over there, this thread was HALLOWED GROUND. No matter what people thought of Stumbler politically, there was an honor among thieves, and everyone left it alone, because this thread was a rare glimpse behind the curtain which showed that beneath all the bluster and innuendo cast back and forth in those political battles, Stumbler was an artist and gentleman.

Now it's been tossed into this cesspool, and it's taken no time at all to be infected by contagion.

The thread got moved to this shithole. Let's not pretend our idiotic new moderators took it on themselves to show some initiative by dint of their imagination and ingenuity. One of YOU reported. ONE OF YOU MOVED IT.

While I understand your thoughts, the problem is that action like this should apply to ALL, so some threads which have NO stories in but is ALL pictures should be in the picture and movie section: But they stay in the story section and has been since July 2014, while Stumblers thread was started in March 2009, and has been a more active thread too.

So while the thread stays in the story section, the moving of Stumblers thread looks more like it was done because of complaints by a jealous member, than a concerned member.

I am not going to get into a pissing match with you as that serves NO worthwhile function, unless you are above me.
But if you move ONE thread, then you should start moving ALL threads.

As for your point about Starbucks serving alcohol, it should be noted that since 2011 Starbucks have been using a re-designed logo which does NOT contain the words "Starbucks" or "Coffee" so thereby giving them the freedom to sell more than just coffee.

But just as a side note, it is kind of funny to see the fired mods reduced to whining little tattle tales who can only report infractions and hope that the infallible new mods, who they hate with a passion, will do their bidding for them. This is exactly why I deeply opposed every repair/upgrade/fix of the Story Site rating system, ever since I first showed up here as "aesexual pseudonym" in 2009. I couldn't get people to understand that no matter how one tweaks the rating system, it can always be gamed by anyone sufficiently determined. I discovered, much to my chagrin, that amateur authors suck at math.

That said, I would hope you are no longer wasting your time, ToucanPlay. No sense beating a corpse.

 

Clarise, why are you keeping this thread going? You, more than anyone, have complained about the dearth of writers on this forum. There is a KAW underway. Can you please comment on it.
