Now shootersa if what you are saying here is true you can easily cite examples of gossip columnists being proven wrong and/or successfully sued. And if you can't we all know you are just yammering again about stuff you don't even know and trying to run another one of your bluffs. Which you always do poorly.

    AND SUED??
    (sighs)
    Okay
    https://www.law.com/insidecounsel/2...bel-and-slander-case/?slreturn=20180012201028

Cameron Diaz – The British Sun newspaper hinted that Diaz had an affair with Shane Nickerson, a friend. When the article was published, she and Nickerson were in relationships and the hardly recognizable imaged posted with the article caused damage to both relationships, so Diaz sued for defamation. But no one is sure of the amount of money Diaz was awarded.

Robin Williams - Williams sued his celebrity look-alike who, with the help of his agent, was pretending to be the actual Robin Williams. Under false pretenses, the look-alike was cheating charities under Robin Williams’ name and causing serious damage to his reputation.

Kiera Knightley – The Daily Mail published accusations that Knightley had an eating disorder and had been responsible for the death of a young lady with anorexia. The actress went to court and was awarded several thousand dollars which she handed over to a charity.

Sharon Stone – Plastic surgeon Renato Calabria let two U.S. magazines know that Stone had received a facelift. Stone claimed the accusations were false and had defamed her resulting in difficulty in finding work. She sued the surgeon for damages and won.

David Beckham – A magazine printed an article claiming that Beckham had hired a prostitute, so he sued. Since Beckham could not prove the magazine acted maliciously, he lost the court ruling and his $25 million lawsuit was tossed out.

Jessie Ventura – Ventura defied all the doubters when he claimed he had been defamed in a best-selling book. In 2012, Ventura sued Chris Kyle, a former Navy SEAL member, claiming Kyle’s book, “American Sniper,” included passages about Ventura that were false. While Ventura was not named in the book, he was alluded to in one chapter called “Punching Out Scruff Face.” In interviews, after the book’s release, Kyle said he was talking about Ventura in the chapter. Ventura told the court that if Kyle apologized for making up the story, then Ventura would not have sued. Ventura was awarded $1.8 million.

    Shooter accepts Stumblers apology.

Oh no shootersa far from an apology what you get is just a good old belly laugh out of Stumbler. These are not gossip columnists. You just took every defamation suit you could find and tried to pretend they were gossip columinists. Which is just hilarious and I do mean literally to me.

Chris Kyle was a gossip columnist shootersa? Really?? Oh fuck what a hoot.

Sharon Stone's plastic surgeon is a gossip columnist shootersa??

Robin Williams celebrity look alike was a gossip columnist shootersa??

Out of everything you posted which is just minuscule compared to the number of gossip columnists out there you got two maybes.

And yes shootersa I am literally laughing out loud at you right now.

      Well, Shooter tried.
He didn't think Stumbler would accept anything he posted, and as it turns out, he was right.
      No matter.

YOU CAN EITHER SHRUG THIS OFF AS OLD NEWS, A MAN BEING A MAN,

Posting this to point out the alleged impulsive indulgence, common among men of power and status for whom no circumstance has any ethical or moral bounds except in the expedience by which it can be done. Great, for a facilitator-who has some sense of loyalty of service to anyone than themselves

Having the affair w/her is like schlepping those teachers who'd be available-totally understandable. The timing of the affair allows for inferences that Trump likes to collect trophies, 'count-coups', wins for their own sake with little regard or consideration for any past vows made.. When it comes to the State of the common weal, the potential damage has very great potential with such an attitude

      Well, but here's the thing.
      President Trump denies anything happened.
      His attorney denies anything happened.
Stephanie Clifford/ Stormy Daniels (the alleged victim) has denied several times, including in writing, that nothing happened.
Her attorney refuses to comment, as did the bank that allegedly handled the payment.

This is little more than a rehash of a debunked story. It seems clear the unsupporters are getting desperate.

Next Up; How Trump takes his steak...........

Trump is an example of the Peter Principle. He has been promoted to his level of incompetence.

      Digressing a bit....
The term I was searching for in an earleir dialogue on education and skill results.. Naively (or cynically) affirmatively promoting people for the check-box or symbology without doing the diagnostic homework for the serious qualities needed, or the remedial training support

The Source of Michael Wolff’s Story Just BUSTED His Weaselly Lying Chops

But given the many years of criticism he’s received for dubious sourcing, it rings true. And I heard somewhere recently that if something rings true, it is true.

Twenty years ago, the now-defunct Brill’s Content took a hard look at Wolff’s book Burn Rate, a memoir of his time as a dot-com hustler, and charged that one of his characters was actually a composite of three people. Likewise, seven of Wolff’s main characters and six others who were either portrayed in or familiar with events in his book claimed he “invented or changed quotes,” and none remembered him taking notes on or taping their discussions…

Personally, I’ve enjoyed reading Wolff over the years. You can call him many things (see the preceding paragraph), but never dull. I do not know Wolff nor can I vouch for his credibility. Though I should add that a mutual acquaintance of ours, after spotting an anecdote he’d casually tossed off to Wolff turn up in Fire and Fury, reported this to me of Wolff’s seemingly slack methodology: “[He got it] from me, which I got from a woman on the beach in Florida, who heard it in a carpool line. Literally. I had no idea he was including it. That guy is a serious bullshit artist. Wow.

Nothing is wrong with writing fiction. There is something wrong with writing fiction and trying to pass it off as the truth.

Like those made for TV movies that have taken dramatic license of actual events..

I'm positive Trump has uniquely off-the-chain idiosyncratic ways that would challenge conventional deportment of Presidents. let alone our power-hungry politicians, but much similar to being outside the bounds as Stalin was in his make over of Communism to Stalinism, so Trump is doing in his own way to GOPism to Trumpism-LIKE IT OR NOT..

The Wolff rag lasted all of one news cycle before falling off of the headlines. The media is good at beating a story to death and then taking a bite out of the next one.

Enter Steve Bannon who has said he will cooperate with the investigation and he can either corroborate or dispel the "revelations" in the book when he testifies.

Back to Stormy Daniels for a second, she is pretty fucking hot though for a toxic cunt.

Well well well what do you know Steve Bannon just confirmed more of Michael Wolff's book yesterday during a congressional hearing no less. And burned Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer and legal spokesman Mark Corallo in the process.

Endeavor Content — the financing and sales arm formed in October between sister companies William Morris Endeavor and IMG — has purchased film and television rights to the No. 1 best-selling book. The massive deal is said to be in the seven-figure range...

Fire and Fury, which tells the inside story of Donald Trump’s first year as president based on Wolff’s exclusive access to the White House, has been the publishing sensation of 2018...

Interest in the book then surged, and publisher Henry Holt moved up the publication date from Jan. 9 to Jan. 5 after White House officials attempted to stop its release. Most bookstores sold out in minutes, with some opening at midnight to meet demand. Ebook and audiobook sales were huge (more than 250,000 and 100,000, respectively). Fire and Fury debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times best-seller list, based only on the first two days of sales. In less than a week, the publisher reported more than 1.4 million hardcovers on order and 700,000 copies shipped, making it the fastest-selling nonfiction book in the company’s history.

To date, rights to the book have been sold in 32 countries. It is currently the best-selling book of any genre worldwide. (A Spanish-language edition is set for Feb. 28, with subsequent takes in Arabic, Albanian, Portuguese, Bulgarian, Japanese, French, German and other languages also planned.)

    ---------

This is going to be interesting. The gaping hinds of flyover country do not read any more than the Vagina Grabber does. Many are probably functionally illiterate. Nevertheless, they watch lots of television every day.

Many might even learn something from this television series. I am not counting on it. You can't teach stupid. What the Fire and Fury phenomenon will do is get the Trump haters to the polling places next November to vote Democrat.
