i had a reindeer.. it was the ugliest thing.. but i loved it so much when i was little.. i named it rodney the reindeer and he never left my side.. he wasnt a christmasy reindeer he was just a reindeer doll.. i dont take him everywhere any more.. but i still sleep with him..

 

I love that Teddy too, and I miss seeing him!!! Where are you Teddy???

 

he is actually.. i had another bear when i was young that i used to masturbate with.. i think i mentioned that in another thread before.. rodney replaced him.. i just got smarter and realized that i needed to wash rodney every now and again..

When I was born, my aunt gave a present which was a teddy bear and a blanky..I had that blanky and slept with it every day until it literally fell apart when I was 14. My mom has kept a piece of it haha

 

when I was in the hospital after my bypass, my ex gave me a Christmas Moose, my female doctor was enchanted by it and called it a Chrismoose, and took it around the floor to show everybody. I still have it and treasure it.

 

Before I can remember I had a teddy bear called "Cheatah". You see, when I was young the Tarzan TV series, starring Ron Ely, was on a lot and I sort of got hooked. So I was Tarzan and my teddy had to be Cheetah. It was the closest thing to chimp I could find.



Anyway, Cheatah, although a bit threadbare in places, now sits on the shelf above my bed.

Mrs T had a red teddy given to her by her 9now deceased) Grandad when she first came home from hospital. It is called, rather imaginatively, Red Ted.

Red Ted now sleeps with the oldest little Bugle every night. He is much more loved than any of the bears or cuddlies we ever bought for him.

 

My son has a Pluto that still goes on trips with him at 25 years old. I took his blanket when he was young but still have it in plastic. He gets it back on his wedding night.

I was never permitted to handle dolls. Growing up my house, boys couldn't have dolls it would make them fags. You should have seen when I asked for a baking set for Christmas.

 

I had so many stuffed animals when I was a little kid - my favorite was Cookie Monster. You may recognize him from Sesame Street, the kid's show on PBS. I had many others, including a crab, a bird, a fish, a snail...

They all had very descriptive names - Crabby, Birdie, Snaily. I apparently wasn't very creative as a child.
