Here's something a little unexpected.

Islamic state is Sunni so it could be their work.

Some back channels suggest that this is becoming increasingly common in Iran .

 

I found this quite interesting. Sorta like biting the hand that feeds you. I'm curious to see how Iran responds to one of their own attacking them.

 

I found it interesting when the pictures of Iranian police had the word 'POLICE' printed in English above the Iranian word for police on the back of their vest.

 

That's for all of the English speaking people visiting Iran on vacation.

 

Who cares what the Muslims do in their own country?

It's the ones here that are the issue.

 

Islamic state is Sunni and nearly all of Iran is Shia Muslim.

It should be interesting to see if Iran starts to move into eastern Iraq to deal with this.

Islamic state hates Shias just about as much as they hate Christians .

Of course I'm assuming that Islamic state had something to do with this and it's possible that they didn't .

This article claims that at least some of the gunmen snuck into the building dressed as women.

I say carpet bomb them back into the stone ages and it will be one less "problem country" grooming terrorists ...

Plus it would be good for oil prices lol.

 

Iran's Foreign Minister has denounced the US POTUS statement that Iran was a sponsor of terror. I guess Iran wants the world to believe that they're the innocent victim here. Nice try.

 

This could very well be a very large escalation in the Civil War between Sunni and Shia Islam.

Russia his clearly chosen the Shia side .

The US has kind of by default chosen the Sunni side .

China actually borders on Afghanistan so it should be interesting to see which direction China goes once they start getting attacked. With a sizable Muslim population on China's west I can imagine it will not be very long before they start experiencing terrorism.

When China tried it's one child policy there were a lot of Chinese communist enforcers that simply went missing

 

I suspect terrorist are aware they would "go missing" in China to.

China is a bit cleverer about such things.

 

I pretty much agree and one also has to keep in mind that nearly all of the internal rebellions in China were religious in nature . So I'm sure the China is watching it's western border very carefully.

But I'm sure the Chinese are also very aware that Russia has experienced a number of terrorist incidents .

Being a caught terrorist would be a living hell in both of those countries.

But it's looking more and more like these terrorists don't have any intention of living past the attacks .

All three of the London terrorists were killed by police and all 12 of the terrorists in iran were also killed.

By the way Iran is now claiming that the actions in Tehran were US inspired.

 

Well it is a well known fact that the U.S. is the leading sponsor of terrorism around the world.

 

I think the US tends to be more interested in high tech actions.

The Stuxnet worm was probably a US invention . Maybe Israel or a joint venture .

I can't imagine how a sloppy operation like what happened yesterday would be in the US . interest

Iran, a state known for sponsoring terrorism, was itself attacked by terrorists, but blames the United States.

 

The Shiite Persians and the Sunni Arabs were fighting each other long before Columbus discovered the new world. ISIS is not one of Iran's "own."

I welcome fighting between Muslims. I hope it becomes more intense and deadly.

ISIS is so evil that I think we should cooperate with anyone who is fighting ISIS, including Iran, Russia, and Assad's dictatorship.

Otherwise, I think we should support the side that is losing. If it begins to win, we should switch our support to the other side. That is how the Reagan administration prolonged the war between Iran and Iraq for eight years.

Support the losing side. Keep the fight going and they will have less time and energy to fight with us.
