  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Did anyone watch the 60 minute report on the DEA and the opioid problems we are having?
What is our own government doing to the people?

Don't know how that came about. I do hope he re-thinks that decision.
Looks like a lot of DEA are mixed up in it. Also lots of other people with deep pockets.
I do not expect much to come of it. I do hope I am wrong.

Why are you always so angry friend? You never have a positive comment. Look back, hardly ever do you speak positively. Is your existence really that bad? Get out in the sun AND change you diet. You are certainly not getting the proper nutrition your body and mind needs.

The global opioid market reached $33.924 billion in 2014 and is estimated to have reached $34.89 billion in 2015, data from Persistent Market Research shows. Experts believe the market will reach $42.16 billion by 2021, or a 3.2% compound annual growth rate (CAGR).

The steady rise in the opioid market is being attributed to prescription pain medication and the ease in getting illegal opiate-based drugs. It is estimated at least 9% of the population has misused opioids at one point in their life.

Opioid use is especially bad here in Mississippi.
Each year there is enough prescriptions given out to supply every single man, woman, and child with a large bottle of pills.
One day they should take a look at why the doctors write so many prescriptions.

My health Insurance company called me last week and tried to get me to tell them all the ways I was in pain....

They went out of their way to get me to say I had some ongoing pain problems----
said the report would be sent to my Doctor so I could get the correct prescriptions----

They then forced me to make a Dr appointment----(they made it)--I have not been to a doctor in 15 years...

    no shit--this is true.....

I dont take any pills but I have done some pain pills in the past just for fun....sleep well on them....

The one and only time I was operated on the doctor came into my room when I woke up and told me to get on my feet immediately and I would make a much faster recovery.
When he left my room I got out of bed. I was able to make an 1 inch step at a time. He was right but I cussed him every 1 inch step down that hallway.
He gave me a prescription for pain pills and I threw it in the trash.
When I checked out the nurse told me the doctor tells that to every patient he operates on but no one has ever took him seriously.
Wish I would have been told that before I got out of my bed.

President Trump said Monday that he will declare a national emergency next week to address the opioid epidemic and declined to express confidence in Rep. Tom Marino (R-Pa.), his nominee for drug czar, in the wake of revelations that the lawmaker helped steer legislation making it harder to act against giant drug companies.

Trump’s remarks came amid widespread reaction across the political spectrum to a Washington Post/“60 Minutes” investigation that explained how Marino helped guide the legislation, which sailed through Congress last year with virtually no opposition.

Trump said “we’re going to be looking into” the investigation, while many Democrats and at least one Republican called for modification or outright repeal of the law. Democrats also urged Trump to drop Marino as his pick to lead the Office of National Drug Control Policy.

Rep. Tom Marino withdraws drug czar nomination after opioid controversy

Rep. Tom Marino has withdrawn from his nomination to become the nation’s next drug czar over controversy from a report that he helped the pharmaceutical industry flood the United States with addictive opioids, according to President Trump.

Trump announced the withdrawal on Twitter a day after saying he would be “looking into” the damning report about Marino’s cozy ties to drug companies.

“Rep.Tom Marino has informed me that he is withdrawing his name from consideration as drug czar. Tom is a fine man and a great Congressman!” Trump wrote.

    Marino had no immediate comment.

Trump had tapped the Pennsylvania Republican last month to become his administration’s drug czar, a post requiring Senate approval.

Marino’s chances took a major blow after a Washington Post and “60 Minutes” joint investigation revealed his role in passing an industry-friendly law last year that made it harder for the DEA to crack down on drug companies. The legislation allowed the companies to overwhelm small markets across America with opioids, worsening a public health crisis that has claimed tens of thousands of lives.

He makes it harder to crack down on drug companies selling opiates and votes against marijuana reform as a congressman.

Right. The states that have legal weed also have less opiate overdoses.

Over the past two decades, deaths from drug overdoses have become the leading cause of injury death in the United States. In 2011, 55 percent of drug overdose deaths were related to prescription medications; 75 percent of those deaths involved opiate painkillers. However, researchers found that opiate-related deaths decreased by approximately 33 percent in 13 states in the following six years after medical weed was legalized.

“The striking implication is that medical marijuana laws, when implemented, may represent a promising approach for stemming runaway rates of nonintentional opioid-analgesic-related deaths,” wrote opiate abuse researchers Dr. Mark S. Brown and Marie J. Hayes in a commentary published alongside the study.
