Well with 21 of his first 26 weeks in office spent going to his other properties I already told you so that is total bullshit. But now the White House isn't good enough for Trump.

‘That White House is a real dump’: Trump openly trashes official residence while visiting his golf course

Donald Trump explains away his frequent visits to his own golf courses by belittling the residence of every U.S. president since 1800, telling attendees at his Bedminster Golf Club that the “White House is a real dump.”

Golf.com reports that during a recent visit to his New Jersey golf club (which Trump has visited four times since his inauguration), the president told fellow members the reason why he frequents his own properties.

“That White House is a real dump,” he said.

The profile of Trump the golfer also described how his New Jersey golf course functioned as a de facto campaign headquarters during the 2016 presidential election. The grounds had an anti-Hillary shrine “built in a bar in the men’s locker room” and blared Fox News at top volume.

Trump also allowed his golf club members access to potential Cabinet interviewees during the transition.

“This is my real group,” he reportedly told a group of members, while inviting them to stop by his interviews the following day. “You are the special people. I see all of you. I recognize, like, 100% of you, just about.”

As for the president’s golfing abilities, while some reports indicated Trump has an uncanny ability to make a hole in one, the people who’ve played with him over the years told golf.com the president “doesn’t play a round of golf so much as narrate it, his commentary peppered with hyperbole”

As documented that is total bullshit. But catch this. Trump is headed off to his own property again for 17 days and its not only not a vacation it Obama's fault.

Can you believe fucking believe that?

Well in this case we actually can. The "dump" will be undergoing some renovations and repair for at least that long and the work was planned and scheduled before President left office.

So I guess that's all I have to say about this one.

Trump applies for casino trademarks in Macau

Donald Trump's international business dealings have come under much scrutiny, even before he became president. Now, a new trademark deal in Macau has raised questions over whether Trump is snapping up gaming licenses while in office.

As first reported by the South China Morning Post, DTTM Operations LLC, a Delaware-based company affiliated with the president, filed four trademark applications in Macau under the Trump name. One of these applications was for "gambling and casino services and facilities," provoking speculation that Trump is moving to capitalize on what is considered an international casino hub.

While Trump was previously known for commandeering the casinos of Atlantic City in the early 1990s, his grasp on the gaming world has loosened through a series of bankruptcies and legal battles. In February 2016, the Trump Organization sold its stake in Trump Entertainment Resorts, which operated the Atlantic City casinos. The Trump Taj Mahal, once a symbol of Trump's gambling empire in New Jersey, was bought out by Hard Rock International earlier this year and will be converted into a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Macau, which currently hosts 38 casinos operated by six owners, has been called the "gaming capital of the world" and "Las Vegas of the East." Gambling tourism makes up about 50% of Macau's economy, and it has overtaken Las Vegas in overall gambling revenue. According to the Morning Post, the licenses of Macau's casino operators began to expire in 2010, raising questions as to whether those licenses would be renewed or bought out by foreign bidders.

Trump has expressed interest in Macau for at least ten years. In 2006, Trump Companhia Limitada—unaffiliated with the president—registered the Trump trademark in Macau for use in hospitality. The following year, Donald Trump filed a request to register three brands—Donald Trump, Trump Tower and Trump International Hotel and Tower—in the former colony; he received approval from the Macau Economic Services in 2012. What followed was an extensive legal battle with Trump Companhia Limitada, which Donald Trump ultimately won in May 2016. This past March, mainland China approved 38 Trump trademarks, including ones for hotels and golf resorts.

Family firm still touting Jared ‘Mr. Perfect’ Kushner’s WH access to attract Chinese investors

A new CNN exclusive revealed late Thursday that Jared Kushner’s family business used his position in the White House to get meetings a New Jersey development project. The story comes after his family was forced to apologize for dropping his name during a sales pitch in May.

Kushner Companies is working with two businesses, both of whom mentioned his name in their online promotions as they search for Chinese investors for a 1 Journal Square development. In exchange for their $500,000 investment, they’ll score a US visa. The deal is part of the EB-5 government program that grants 10,000 immigrant visas each year.

CNN posted a screen capture of the promotions that say in Chinese that Kushner Companies is a “real estate heavyweight” and mentioned “the celebrity of the family is 30-something ‘Mr. Perfect’ Jared Kushner, who once served as CEO of Kushner Companies.”

In May, the US Immigration Fund, a private company in Florida, referenced Kushner’s cover on December’s Forbes Magazine with the headline reading “This guy got Trump elected.” When CNN reached out to the company for comment, the ad disappeared.

“In 2008, my brother Jared Kushner joined the family company as CEO,” Meyer told a crowd. She added, he “recently moved to Washington to join the administration.”

Kushner’s sister, Nicole Kushner Meyer was caught pitching in May to Chinese investors. Kushner’s lawyer claimed he wasn’t financially tied to the development and had no idea his sister was using his name. Meyer’s spokesperson said that the dropping of his name was in no way an attempt to snag investors using his White House influence.

Former George W. Bush ethics lawyer, Richard Painter said that the EB-5 presents a possible government-backed quid pro quo by promising immigration status for investments.

“What is not authorized is any arrangement where someone gets preference for their visa if they give money to a company that is controlled by the family of a United States government official,” said Painter.

“And unfortunately,” says Painter, “that implication was made in the selling efforts for this project.”

Democrats have raised questions about the Trump family using their influence to promote the Trump properties and the Trump name. Kushner is now under the microscope as well.

BUSTED: Trump’s Mar-a-Lago does bare minimum to find US workers — while insisting it needs foreigners

Mar-a-Lago, one of President Donald Trump’s most famous properties, applied this year for visas for 70 foreign guest workers, despite the fact that its owner made hiring American workers one of the staples of his campaign message.

The Washington Post’s David Fahrenthold and Lori Rosza are reporting that, despite Mar-a-Lago’s claims that it can’t find any American workers to fill its positions, the luxury resort barely makes any effort to find Americans who are willing and able take up its job offers.

In the weeks leading up to Mar-a-Lago’s formal request for visas for foreign workers, the resort ran precisely two ads in the local Palm Beach Post letting the community know it was looking for help. The ads let prospective workers know that they need “three months” of “recent & verifiable [experience] in [the] fine dining/country club” industry.

The real kicker, however, is that the resort does not give applicants an email address or phone number — and tells them only to “apply by fax.”

And even applicants who are qualified and who happen to have quick access to a working fax machine aren’t likely to actually get the jobs being advertised.

Jeannie Coleman, a resident of West Palm Beach who applied to work at Mar-a-Lago two years ago, said the club gave her a job interview but didn’t hire her. It subsequently made a request for more foreign workers on the grounds that it was having trouble finding Americans to fill its jobs.

“I had the qualifications,” Coleman told the Post. “The interview went great. But they never even did the common courtesy to call me and tell me why I wasn’t hired.”

Which doesn't bother them. But that would damn sure bother me if there was proof on this thread I couldn't remember what I said yesterday, last week, last month and since Trump got elected. That would bother the fuck out of me.

Surprise, Surprise: Trump’s Deregulation Teams Are Full of Potential Conflicts of Interest
Three recently discovered appointees tasked with unwinding Transportation Department rules have deep industry ties.

When President Trump ordered federal agencies to form teams to dismantle government regulations, the Transportation Department turned to people with deep industry ties.

One appointee had previously lobbied the department on behalf of American Airlines. Another held executive roles for several electric and hybrid car companies regulated by the department. A third was a lawyer who represented United Airlines in regulatory matters.

The three appointees have been identified by ProPublica and the New York Times in a continuing effort to track members of the deregulation teams. The appointments, previously unreported, follow a pattern identified by the two news organizations: By and large, the Trump administration has stacked the teams with political appointees, some of whom may be reviewing rules their former employers sought to weaken or kill.

A full vetting of industry connections has been difficult because some agencies have declined to provide information about the appointees—not even their names.

The lack of transparency has concerned several top Democratic members of Congress who serve on committees that oversee regulatory matters. In a letter to the White House on Monday, they called on the administration to release the names of all regulatory team members as well as documents relating to their potential conflicts of interest.

“It is unacceptable for federal agencies to operate in such a clandestine and unaccountable manner especially when the result could be the undoing of critical public health and safety protections,” Representatives Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland, John Conyers Jr. of Michigan, Gerald E. Connolly of Virginia and David Cicilline of Rhode Island wrote in the letter.

The congressmen cited a recent investigation by ProPublica and the New York Times revealing that members of the deregulation teams have included lawyers who represented businesses in cases against government regulators, staff members of political dark money groups and employees of industry-funded organizations opposed to environmental rules.

Since the publication of that investigation last month, the news organizations have identified more than a dozen other appointees through interviews, public records and reader tips—including the three appointees to the deregulation team at the Transportation Department.

In all, there are now 85 known current and former team members, including 34 with potential conflicts. At least two of the appointees may be positioned to profit if certain regulations are undone and at least four were registered to lobby the agencies they now work for.

One Transportation appointee, Daniel Elwell, was previously a top lobbyist for American Airlines who sought to influence the Transportation Department. He also held executive positions with the Aerospace Industries Association, a trade group representing aerospace and defense companies, and Airlines for America, a trade association for major airlines.

The airlines group recently applauded the Transportation Department’s decision to suspend a rule that would have required airlines to provide more public information about passenger fees. The Transportation Department has estimated that airlines collected more than $4.1 billion last year in baggage fees.

A department spokesperson said Elwell left the deregulation team after being appointed as deputy administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration in June.

Another Transportation appointee, Marianne McInerney, was president of a trade group representing car dealers. She also held executive positions at several electric and hybrid automotive companies.

The department has oversight over some rules affecting electric cars. For example, this year it delayed new safety requirements that would have forced the vehicles, which are normally quiet, to make a minimum amount of noise to catch the attention of nearby pedestrians.

A third Transportation appointee, Jonathan Moss, was previously managing director of international and regulatory affairs at United Airlines. One of his top responsibilities at the airline, which is regulated by the Transportation Department, was “anticipating and responding to proposed regulations affecting United’s operations.”

Moss also served at the department during the Obama administration. An agency spokeswoman said all deregulation team members had signed agreements requiring them to recuse themselves from issues that narrowly affect recent employers.

The deregulation teams are part of Trump’s push to cut red tape across government, and they have presented a new avenue for industries to shed rules they have argued for years are hurting profits, depressing job creation and raising prices. Environmental, consumer and other liberal groups have argued that such regulations protect the public, keeping drinking water clean and roads safe, for example.

In the recent past, presidents from both parties have entered office pledging to scrutinize regulations, but Trump’s order goes further, putting a premium on cutting rules and empowering teams of political appointees who are typically less wedded to an agency’s existing guidelines.

The agencies have also been opaque about their deregulation teams.

The Justice Department has released the names of only two appointees currently working on its team. In an email exchange, a spokesman, Ian Prior, said he could not provide additional names because “the Task Force is made up of components, not particular employees.”

“A component may have multiple employees assisting with the work,” he added.

Asked if he could name any of those employees, he responded, “Decline.”

The Defense Department and the Department of Homeland Security provided only the titles for most appointees to their review teams, not the names.

In their letter to the White House, the Democratic lawmakers suggested that withholding names could violate the Freedom of Information Act.

“These Task Forces must have an effective and transparent guard against conflicts of interest, especially those in which industry lobbyists seek to overturn environmental and health protections for financial gain,” wrote the lawmakers, who are the ranking Democrats on the House’s Committee on Oversight and Government Reform; Committee on the Judiciary; Subcommittee on Government Operations; and Subcommittee on Regulatory Reform, Commercial and Antitrust Law.

“It appears,” the letter continued, “that the current Task Forces are already failing on this front, and instead are actively hiding their members and their meetings from public view.”

The letter was addressed to Mick Mulvaney, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, and Neomi Rao, the administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, which vets regulatory changes coming out of federal agencies.
