I heard some songs on the radio that I haven't heard in a long time and it made me think. What song brings back memories, good or bad, that you haven't heard in a long time? There is a Venezuelan singer , his name is Franco De Vita, and this singer performance a beautifull song, the name of that song is "No Basta"
obviously, the song its in Spanish language, but i search at the internet the english translate.... its a great composition

This can serve as my one serious post of the year!

I love songs that can have different meanings to different people .. you hear it and interpret it one way, somebody else another.

I'm also convinced I was born 20-30 years too late for a number of reasons - music being one of the biggest. Music has been a vital part of my life, and with the exception of maybe a couple artists, I can't stand anything that is released today. My parents came of age in the 80's and they have a song for everything - first kiss, first beer, first time... Like a soundtrack was constantly playing for events that are milestones. I envy that and long ago immersed myself in 80's culture and 80's music.

The song this thread makes me think of the most is an 80's power ballad that has deep meaning for me. Each and every line speaks to me and a place I've been in my life. How the struggle to come back from that is constant and the fight is always ongoing. Listening to this song is a reminder to never surrender. Don't ever give up - keep fighting. You're worth it. Your life is worth it.
