Prince back on streaming platforms, 2 new albums coming
2 complete concert films also found in Paisley Park vaults

On June 9, it will release a remastered copy of Purple Rain, two albums of previously unreleased Prince music and two complete concert films from the vault of the singer's Paisley Park recording complex.

The Minneapolis musician, who died in April 2016 at age 57, had shunned most streaming and digital music platforms in 2015, with the exception of Jay Z's Tidal outlet, which seeks to return a larger share of profits to artists.

 

Jazz musician Al Jarreau dead at 76

Grammy-winning jazz singer Al Jarreau, who transcended genres over a 50-year career, died at a Los Angeles hospital Sunday, just days after announcing his retirement from touring due to exhaustion.

His official Twitter account and website said he died surrounded by his wife, son and a few other family members and friends. He was 76.

Jarreau was hospitalized earlier in the week and was said to have been improving slowly. The cause of his death was not revealed.

Kate Upton is once again gracing the cover of the annual issue, becoming only the fourth woman to do so three times. This year, she's making the splash with three different covers.

Other women who did the cover three times include Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum and Christie Brinkley, who also is featured in this year's edition with her two daughters. Elle Macpherson holds the record with five cover appearances.

Other notables in this year's edition include former cover girl Chrissy Teigen, an expectant mother and athletes including tennis champ Serena Williams and Olympic gold medal gymnast Simone Biles.

After delivering an emotional acceptance speech honoring Queen Bey, the British soul diva is trying to record a duet with the "Sandcastles" singer, reported Radar Online.

"Adele is a huge Beyonce fan, and it was her idea to team up together. This is going to be a girl power anthem! "They're still talking about what they want to do. But this is going to be one of the biggest duets of all time. These two getting together will set the music business on fire!," a source said.

The two divas are still talking about the possible duet, the source added.

Neither Adele's nor Beyonce's representative has responded to the report.
