  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

In my stories there are mistakes a child could see. Reason being, I never proofread. I like offering my unfiltered, unedited stories to the people for free, I don't know why but I feel like there's something nice about knowing this is the way the story spilled out of my brain. Plus, it means that edited versions for financial supporters have some kind of weight to them.

    Hey guys and gals,
What's the longest time you had to wait from admitting a story until it was published?

I finished my latest installment of What a Difference a Summer Makes. I admitted it today.

I'm trying really really hard but I can't think of a more arrogant post by a writer than that.

The word Plonker springs athletically to mind.

Go back through my post history, I'm sure you can find more arrogant-seeming ones.

I'm not entirely convinced it's arrogant. I'm not suggesting my stuff doesn't need to be proofread, if anything I'm saying otherwise, and that perhaps I should. It was more so... spitballing the reason why I don't, and how I approach my writing and its relationship to readers. That said... 'plonker.' That takes me back. Are you from England or NZ?

Also, I didn't have to wait personally, but I remember there was a point on this site when the waiting period was one-and-a-half weeks. The writers were, needless to say, not pleased. People kind of mini-rioted on the site and the mass downvoting was bad, it was rare to find a story on top Top Rated Last 30 breach 93% until new uploads came back.

Are reader comments prevalent in the sex stories section. I recently posted a story, it has 24 ratings, but no comments. Thanks

That's very kind of you. I'm glad one of the chart-leading authors of this site is also leading a trend of community. That means a lot.

I am new to the forums and have written some stories for fun but never posted any. Reading some stories in the forums I see alot of people bashing everything from content to grammar. This makes me a bit nervous to post any of my writtings. Any words of wisdom?

I might suggest getting the FREE version of Grammarly.com It will fix lots of simple mistakes such as comma placement, word tense, spelling and the such. It will make your writing that much better.

Just make sure you read out loud your story before submitting. When you read your story out loud you can catch any mistakes you may have made.

Thanx, funny thing is,I was proof reading one of my stories aloud when my wife was unknowingly behind me. Must have been a good read as it switched her right on. I'm wondering mostly however about what content works best on these forums and what doesn't? Softcore writtings or dark details? I can take some abuse about Grammar because I know I'm just a regular guy and not a literary scholar..lol. I want to provide some good adventures for the readers.

Like I said above, get Grammarly.com, the free version. As far as softcore versus dark details, write what YOU feel comfortable with. There are authors who write in the various genre's and while it may not be something you enjoy their work is still damn good. A prime example would be Shady Lady Julie. She writes a lot in the bestiality genre, not my thing, but her writing is spectacular. Look around, read, sometimes looking at HOW someone wrote their story will give you an idea about the manner you could write your story. Some use first person narration, some use multiple points of view narration, some write in third party narration and the such.

The number 1 theme on this site is Incest. No question about it.

Hey, all. I'm back from the other side. I've been out of commission and physically unable to write for a couple months (erotica isn't exactly something you can dictate to your secretary), but now I'm back at it. I've been lurking and enjoying the discussions in the thread while I've been away; as always, it's a pleasure to be part of such an intelligent and constructive community of writers. I'm writing again now and should have the next chapter of Agent of Lilith off the ground soon.

My questions for you guys today: What's your writing process? Do you work off an outline? How many drafts do you mock up before you commit to a final version? How extensively do you edit?

Myself, I'm a perfectionist, and I'll scan my work a thousand times looking for any errors or things that I can change to make clearer or more compelling. I hope that this shows in my writing, though mostly it's for my sake. It doesn't feel right putting out a chapter of a story that I didn't write at least two drafts of, not counting the outline.

I'm looking forward to getting a glimpse into the processes some of the skilled writers here go through, and maybe we can all learn something from one another.

I don't write from an outline, maybe I should but I let my mind take me wherever it may lead. I too read my work a thousand times, yet some of my faithful readers point out errors still, but I love the input as it just makes me work harder on the next chapter to avoid that issue. I tend to write in pieces. Sometimes I feel the flow of writing and just keep pounding the keys until there's nothing left to say and sometimes I just kind of meander not really heading towards anything. I always start my read from the last 'chapter' heading and read until I stopped. Before I post my final piece, I read it out loud and then my wife will read over my shoulder. Once we both agree, I post it.....however, lately xnxx has been taking an unusually long time to publish (I'm guessing they're short-handed).

On a second note, erotica IS something you can dictate to your secretary. However, I'm thinking that she needs to be young and dumb to believe that it is part of her responsibilities....ha ha. I would guess that at least a few of us guys have that fantasy about having a personal secretary who does more than type.

We're all glad that you are back to being able to write. Hope whatever kept you from writing was a one-time thing.

For me I formulate ideas for different sections of my stories then fill in the plot to get to that section of the story. Like I say in my author's notes, I'm big into musicals and I sometimes derive ideas from music I may hear in my car driving to work or reference from past movies I've seen and incorporate that into my stories.

I re-read my work consistently, especially now. From my first ever story I have noticed many errors I didn't notice before, specifically mixing up characters names.

My latest story What a Difference a Summer Makes part 3, I believe, is my finest work yet because I re-read that story maybe hundred times before I sent it in.

It's great to be part of this forum. You guys give me great insight on how to further my craft.

WDSM 3 is your finest so far! Now, if we can only get a couple of main stream publishers to offer us all book deals, THAT would be awesome!
