I hate antisemitism, but it intrigues me psychologically because there is no rational reason for it. By no commonly accepted criteria do Jews tend to be morally inferior to Gentiles. They do tend to be more intelligent and more prosperous. That is the reason for the hate.

Antisemites present ridiculous arguments. They blame Jews for what they do not like about American society, and what they do not like about themselves. An antisemite is rejected by beautiful white women. Then he sees beautiful white women with black men. He concludes that those beautiful white women were "brainwashed" by Jews into preferring black men.

If Jews had so much control over the romantic decisions of beautiful white women, why don't they "brainwash" beautiful white women into preferring Jewish men? Antisemites lack the brains to ask themselves questions like that.

No matter; he and Shooter have had, and will certainly have in the future, spirited discussions on this subject. In any case, the point is that when someone wants to talk about racial differences, in particular differences that are "inherent" for that race Shooter always has to ask; how do we define (insert race at issue) and know how to identify them so, you know, we can test your premise that (insert race at issue) are/do/can (insert trait ascribed to race at issue).

You see, current scientific (that is, genetic research) dogma is that race is a social construct, not a genetic construct. We all share pretty much the same gene set, and in fact humans and monkeys share more genes in common than people are comfortable knowing about, let alone how many genes "blacks" and "whites" and "jews" share.

But then, if one accepts the idea that we are all biologically one race, it makes it much harder to claim superiority over another group, cause you know, except for societal pressures and norms, there go we. Think of it. Except for the chance of history, us crackers could have been owned by them darkies, or maybe the Indians would have ended up settling Europe and putting the queen on a "reservation", or ..................... well, you get the point.

Once you get over the color of the skin, all the rest of this shit pretty much looks ridiculous to an alien wondering "What the fuck have these people been eating?"

1. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain on paper towels and set aside. Sprinkle rabbit with salt and coat with 1/3 cup flour, shaking off excess. Brown rabbit in remaining bacon fat. Remove from skillet, along with all but 2 tablespoons of the fat, and reserve.
2. Saute shallots and garlic in skillet for about 4 minutes, until tender. Stir in wine, 1 cup water and bouillon. Heat to boiling, then stir in jelly, peppercorns, bay leaf, and rosemary. Return rabbit and bacon to skillet. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat to low. Cover and let simmer about 1 1/2 hours or until rabbit is tender.
3. Remove bay leaf and discard. Place rabbit on a warm platter and keep warm while preparing gravy.
4. To Make Gravy: Stir lemon juice into skillet with cooking liquid. Combine 3 tablespoons water with 2 tablespoons flour and mix together; stir mixture into skillet over low heat. Finally, stir in thyme. Pour gravy over stew and serve, or pour into a gravy boat and serve on the side.
