A question for women, if men are allowed to walk in public topless, should women be allowed?

 

It is allowed in the province of Ontario in Canada if its 26c or above. Law has been on the books for over 20 years though other than at pride parades, you rarely see anyone exercise that right. Or at least that was the case when I still lived there

 

was just wondering how most women feel, a friend of mine feels she should have the same rights, if it is hot she feels she should beable to peel her top off, or when driving when it is hot. After listening to her I agree she should have the same right

 

Yes, Women should be allowed to.
She should expect a few cat-calls, whistles and suggestive comments.
Doesn't make them right but it's reality and reality isn't always the way we want it to be.

 

I have always wondered this too. I find it unfair that males can walk around topless and women have to covered up!! I would be happy to walk outside with out a shirt on!!

 

I'm not so sure I care either way, I just think it should be the same rule for all genders.

If men can, women can.
If men can't, women can't (with the exception of breastfeeding).

 

I do know that in New York city the law was changed to allow women to go topless when it gets hot out. But honestly with what some females already wear do they really need to go with even less?

 

Bloody hell! Of course I agree that it should be the same for both sexes......but think of the chaos! All the male staring and general lack of concentration will lead to car crashes, public disorder and a breakdown of civilisation as we know it!

Depends where you live what the local ordinances allow and forbid. I've seen some ordinances that require not only the nipple be covered but the area of the breast below it as well.

 

In theory, they probably should. As long as female breasts are viewed sexually though, that ideal of equality will likely not be achieved. Humans are great at creating double-standards, even among those who should know better. Consider the nudists who preach that full nudity should be allowed because its natural. That argument makes a certain amount of sense until you're at a nudist resort or beach, get a hard-on, and are asked to cover up or leave. So nudity is natural but an erection is not? Makes as much sense as topless men are fine but topless women are not, but there it is.

 

It should be legal, in my opinion. I think with as much as women are self conscious, many would not partake. But the option should be available. It's just fair.

I wouldn't, my breasts are big and need support, but I don't see why anyone should be forbidden. Dude, there are guys with moobs bigger than my breasts!

What a problem. When I am in holiday's at the beach I am always real happy when I can see fat man topless walking arround and what a nice view. For me it is anything not real famous to see any kind of topless on public places or arround the beach streets and in shops. I think this is also a question of hygienic. So stop to discuss this and start to weare clean clotes in the public. Then that problem is gone.
