I received a call late last night that wantsomefun passed very suddenly. First responders were unable to revive him. He was one of my best friends and I will miss him.

 

Oh no. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Very sorry to hear that, lean on your makers book & lean on your friends. R.I.P. WANTSOMEFUN. Life can be very brief, nobody is promised tomorrow. When you go to bed at night, make sure all your relationships are at a good place.

 

Godspeed to you wantsomefun. I believe you were one of the first welcomes I got when I joined. My condolences to those of you who were close to him. Saying goodbye is never easy.

I only related to him via this website. I appreciated his wit and wisdom. He did not suffer fools gladly. Please was it heart attack or stroke ? Was he old enough to recall JFK's state funeral with the pipes ? RIP

 

WSF was in his mid 60s. He had a heart attack quite a few years ago, but hadn't been complaining about feeling sickly at all. Trust me, we spoke almost every day. He was starting to get excited about finding a new home and purchasing a new car. He loved writing and loved interacting with other writers. Some of our best conversations were about what we were working on for the CAWs.

 

I talked with WSF just a few times. Each discussion was enlightening. I wish his family the best.
