Another article about women's choices and beauty appeared in today's Scientific American. Basically, there's now scientific evidence that women, in general, are attracted to the men that other women are attracted to, simply because other women are attracted.

I think that beauty is mostly on the inside

 

Isn't it in our genes (or jeans if you are horny). Our basic instinct will choose for us, red lips, child bearing hips, child feeding breasts what ever we are programmed to look for. If that is true then I like all women because of the wide range I have been attracted to, beer induced leeriness included But our initial assessment of a women will be is she a potential partner to mate with to carry on our lineage? OK modern us have a more open and complex view and seek more but we still are nowt but animals! More so when looking for long term relationships. How many times have you thought, yeah i would fuck her but let her stay for breakfast.. erm no it's my bacon only for me!

I must admit if I see a curvy ass I then look up!!! I read somewhere that research shows men have a more direct way of looking at things and women in a more general way (hunter gatherer long sighted, nurturer short sighted)?

No, really, walking around my university, i see hot chicks all the time. I usually judge a hottie on the way they present themselves, silicon implant tits are quite possibly my largest turn-off, really, if a girl needs that to feel good, i dont think thats right. at all. Otherwise, i look for clothes, a nice face, and.. well the rest i dont think about, it's processed before i notice. also, my trend for my last few dates and girlfriends has been that i get to know them first, even if they are hotties, then, on the first date i let myself look at them that way, and i can say with honesty, "damn, you look fine tonight".
But, again, i would never date a girl with a paris hilton style personality. probably the same reason that i look at paris hilton and go "what a dumb, rude, stuck up, little rich-bitch". She gives hotties a bad name world wide. (sorry for getting a little off-topic )

Vanity and self obsession for me, i have to think that they are better looking than me, if so they have my interest, always strange wouldn't really think about having sex with another guy unless it was an exact lookalike to me, isn't that funny

anyway back on topic its definitely about their face, a cute smile and deep beautiful eyes catches me, and i'm not a fan of large women although there's nothing wrong with having a little extra

then the attractiveness goes onto a whole different level going into personality and other aspects, which i do believe is more important than a pretty face.

 

A good face and healthy weight, preferably dark hair and skin. But truly the have got to have a brain!

 

As for physical, I can find in almost any women some redeeming quality.That is because I truly love them from head to toe.This being the eyes, hair, lips, anything. I love how they laugh, sigh, cry, bite thier lips, everything. Women=beauty

A good point in note: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
It might sound like rubbish, but I couldnt think of another way to put it. Beauty is in a woman's uniqueness, its in her heart, its in the way she holds herself. Face or body aside. I have no doubt int he world my girlfriend is a woman as beautiful as they come, but others may not agree. She may not be the curviest girl, or have perfect features, but thats not what I see.
I mean a person may have a good spirit and not be beautiful. But part of beauty is the respect they give to their bodies, like eating right and not covering themselves in globs of makeup, so they're still repectable looking people.
A womans physical body is still a factor, but usually only as a window in their lives.
Anyways, My 2 cents.
